Ah wasn't my internet connection then. Currently looking for wall space around the house...want a reason to order another canvas
Sounds like you've had a nightmare with it mate![]()
Hi,
Just going through this thread. Just Liked you on FB (Mark Vickers). How can I find out about resolution and sizing for your product please as I have an enquiry for a canvas and the last canvas I had printed was poor.
Much appreciated,
Mark
Hi Ben,
No, I have not purchased from you. It does read that way now you mention it, sorry for that!
What's the best way to contact you?
Mark
Ben - are you fully up and running now? i am trying to register at http://www.tradecanvasprint.co.uk/register.php and both in Firefox and IE nothing happens, just a blank screen.
I've just registered on the site. Can I just check that the prices include vat.
Thanks.
Thanks, I thought it had to as there was no mention of vat, but with you being called 'Trade...' I thought I'd checkIncludes VAT... Thanks ben
I don't actually offer Canvases, but if I start I'd like to try these out.
Thanks.
From the feedback on this thread, no doubt. But canvases result in a softer image than the alternatives, and they're also cheaper (ie, clients can buy them cheap too), so I'm not sure I want to offer themI had a 5ftx1.5ft one done from Ben and it was really really nice.
... But canvases result in a softer image than the alternatives ...
Framed prints, metals, acrylic, etc.Softer than which alternatives - acrylics?
They don't appear softer because of their size, they are softer. But like you say, if you get a large one, the viewing distance can make up for this. No one is saying you'd have a problem with them, but they aren't as sharp as the alternative media.Thing is with a canvas. Only reason it may appear softer is because if the size.
Just putting my price list together. Without having to look throught this entire thread can you tell me about shipping costs for canvases and prints.

I opened the image up. Opened the canvas size window and added 4cm to each side so in total 8cm to the height and 8cm to the width. Made the new canvas extension colour to black. The black denoting the wrap. I then used clone/marque tool to get everything to mirror nicely.
The carpet looks weird but that will be wrapped so not going to show - I hope!!
Thankyou guys!
Will send the original over now.
