Week 1: Lines & Angles. tech: Framing

I don't think it would have worked as well without the fence, so that was a good find

Week 2: Rust & Decay

Well, you certainly sprung into action adn got a handle on this theme

For rust & decay I prefer the 2nd shot.

I like the second image, but then I am a fan of cemeteries.

I'd probably have taken the cemetery as the preferred option too, and maybe tweaked up the colours to emphasise the rust.

Both good but another vote for the second shot, "good" decay in the wooden post and gate though.

That pipe securing the post reminds me of an industrial water pipe

I like them Both David but prefer the camera angle on the second shot, the post taken from lower down would give a similar powerful impact as the second shot

I like the irony of the first image and I can see why you went for it, but with physical rust and implied human decay, the second definitely works on multiple layers!

Week 3: Windows and Doors

It's kinda like a starburst, but not just an optical effect.

It's the door into my kitchen, and I have embedded ceiling lights in there. So it was a case of having the door open just enough to let the shafts of light come through.
The picture was taken using my iPhone.

Just saw your interpretation as I uploaded mine - looks like we had the same idea! Love the multiple shafts of light, really adds a lovely three dimensionality (is that a word?!) to the image.
