Okay F&C stalwarts, what we gonna do then? Just turn up and mingle, wittering on about how good film is and how these young whippersnappers have no idea how to take a photo? Or are we going to put on a show, get Roberts to polish up the equipment (oooer, there I go again) and let the masses look at our shiny, shiny things.

"You" are most welcome to have a "table" to extol the virtues of film to every passer-by, that slows to take a glance,
at your shiny things (y)

and we can add you to the "programme of events" :)

Like chris says guys, totally your choice, you can either just mingle with the masses, or have a speshul table to take turns in extolling the virtues of proper photography to all and sundry as well as sharing toys with each other. I can speak with some experience when I say that even if you run a table, you will all get plenty of chance to join in with the photo stuff too, last years exhibitors did, so don't worry that you will miss out on anything either.

Well, we've all got plenty to show ( omg, @Andysnap , your innuendos are infectious:naughty:)

Depending on luggage space, I could bring some subminiatures for folk to view and possibly even shoot. ( This would require someone to lend / supply changing bag, scissors, cellotape and such like)

Plenty of time to think it over.

More importantly we need to tempt the rest of the f&c gang to join us:p

OK, I have had my 48 hour pass rubber stamped by the fragrant Mrs Snap.

@simon ess - Which hotel have you booked into mate?
@stevelmx5 - I'm happy to let you drive mate and of course share the fuel costs. Would it be possible to pick up Simon Ess on the way, make it even cheaper?

Shall we make another thread to discuss what we can bring along to show off?

Let me confirm my weekend pass and I'll let you know. No problem with picking Simon up too. It's silly taking too many cars down there is we can all share the costs. I had a quick look at hotels last night and saw that the local Travelodge is around £60 for a twin room on the Saturday. I'm happy sharing a room to keep costs down too.

I've booked the Saturday night at the Old Hunters Lodge. I had the last room apart from a 4 poster.

There is this one, it used to be travel lodge, but is now red wings, just North of Dunstable
easy access to the location, (5 miles approx) without going through any towns.
and not far from J12 (Toddington) M1

Yes, the Holiday Inn* is on the A5 between the Whipsnade turn off and the M1 (J9).


*I now have to go and wash my typing fingers.
