TP film and conventional Flickr group

I've nothing current to add, but what I reckon I'll do first is drop the "Homeless Holga" stuff in there - seeing as it was pretty much a group effort anyway...

thinking about it, the "homeless holga" stuff is probably all going to come over from me... I'll spend a few minutes trying to work out who actually took the photo and add it to the description panel.

It's going to take a while to populate them, at 5 shots a day... if anyone wants to "short circuit" the wait and see them all together - they're all in a set here

Thanks for the invite, Nick, I should be on if my phone app's working properly.

Something odd's going on with my flickr, I've had a couple of randoms add me as a contact and when I checked, there was a couple of dozen photos that I'd apparently favourite'd which I had no knowledge of! Time to change my password, I think.
 
Hmm, several other favourites that I don't remember favouriting but nothing else. I don't think I've got any payment information stored on my flickr (I'm with BT so get a free Pro account despite the repeated warnings that I'm going to lose everything and be killed to death really soon honest) so unless it's a database corruption which popped them into my account, I'm nonplussed.

Still, password changed and thanks BT for not allowing punctuation in account passwords ... you bloody halfwits :rolleyes:
 
I think thats a bug. I've seen that happen then unhappen when I check later.
 
In other news, I need to check the calibration of my monitor at home. The photo of Nick was noticeably brighter when I was editing it, looked dark on my phone but I put that down to it being on my phone but now on the monitor at work it's also pretty dull and muddy.

Ah well, I haven't bought anything from Amazon for a while ;)
 
Haven't really been using flickr much, I moved to Photob*cket for hosting to get over flickr limits. But could you add me anyway? I'm chris.rusbridge...

I've tried Chris but you don't seem to exist. Can you go to Flickr and request to join?

What limits does Flickr have? You can post up to a terabyte's worth of photos nowadays, I think. One terabyte would be a lot of rolls of film.
 
I'd like to join too please :) I'll still post my photos on here but it would be good to have a place to view all of them at once without having to scroll back through loads of pages.

This was a couple of years back; I used up my complete quote at that time with scanned slide from our 1974 NZ trip! (I could add more but they weren't visible.)

I did a member search for that name and nothing was found, but could have a different name on here of course.

A look at his / her flickr profile shows them to be in a number of film groups.

Don't shoot the messenger, as it obviously has no effect on the purpose or function of the group, but Chris is saying that you've added an unnecessary apostrophe in the group rules section.
  • "Obviously only post photo's shot on film."
 
but shirley photo's is an abbreviation of photographs?

I think they may just be a random film user, I've added an extra rule that should make it clear that membership of TP is necessary.

Could be an Everton fan. And let's not get stuck up on grammar, remember English is an evolving language, it's just that some people evolve it quicker than others. (I believe all my apostrophes are correctly placed.) :D
