TP 52'ers Class of 2016 Discussion thread Week 52 we made it! time to celebrate /( celebrations)

I'm currently thinking Abandoned ... a three legged van gogh chair would be too much to find but something similar in B&W or HDR.
I've just realised I've gone and eaten the props for this weeks topic ....my abandoned diet :D

Well you'll certainly be getting your fibre and with three legs at least it's a balanced diet...

Well I had the grand daughter over for a couple of days and suggested we take her shopping, then run off and leave her and then I sneak back and get a photo of her looking lost and confused....the wife suggested that I find something else...
Hah! I have no idea why! [emoji23]

I had a similar idea of taking Isabelle to a bus stop with a suitcase when it's dark and photographing her from the other side of the road :)

Just seen these cells on the spreadsheet :)

I think you mean @Dark Knight "Dark Star" is an ex mod, he gracefully retired sometime ago, but drops by occasionally, ( so I broke the link ;) )

Seriously, how on earth was I supposed to know that a linky to DK's TP52 spreadsheet was going to be in a thread for TP52 linkies, eh? (My wife uses the term "hidden in plain sight" a lot with me, for some reason...) Thanks :)

Not only that its also on page one of the sign up thread, I guess no one RTFM these days :D

Sorry, I had any ability to read a manual removed at puberty :(

However, on a more positive note, my new (replacement) strobe arrived this morning courtesy of Lencarta. (Well, technically, courtesy of me wiring the appropriate amount of money to them, but you get the idea...)

Still can't come up with anything for Abandoned yet! Doesn't help we've had 80mph winds here for most of the day... Will have to don thinking cap tomorrow!

I think that most males do TBH :D

And - importantly - it arrived with a new, FAR more substantial and stable stand. Having tested it, I can confirm it doesn't fall over when my softbox is attached... so a big improvement in both its expected life and in the health & safety stakes!

Just... cheers, just been one of them days, and just learned I have to do 8 hr 450 mile round trip for a 2 hour meeting tomorrow, it's going to be one of them weeks :bang:

Feel better I got a scream out :)

He's just remembered he shoots Canon :exit:

from one Canon shooter to another, Just say the word Dean, and he's history :D
Thanks Chris... best let him be, I think his choice of camera is already enough for him to bear, he needs to vent his frustration at times ;)

If you are sure? TBH I do agree with you though, that is a huge cross to bear :D

Well, the moral of the story for today: sometimes when you think all inspiration has gone and you're getting stuck for a theme... you spot something.

Very fortunately, I decided to take my camera with me on a trip to a potential client today (left it in the car for the meeting, of course!) and it turned out there were a host of opportunities as the weather improved markedly on the way there. Bye bye Storm Henry!

So I need to make sure I keep it with me in future... just in case. Let that be a lesson to you all!

Best idea that mate, I always have my camera gear in the boot of my car, you just never know !!!

Found my subject for abandoned and have taken my happy picture very short on time at the moment with work and the end of the indoor season comps coming up - was also unwell at the start of this week. Will be up to date by end of next week as I have some off, had a look in the photos thread and some great images in there [emoji3]

Now you tell me....I was sent home early from work today into an unexpected and glorious sunset...with my camera at home. :banghead:
