It's an ok tripod, especially at that price. Only used it a few times though.
The bag it comes in is not good for travel protography, solid tube type thing what takes up half your suitcase (replaced with a cheap jessops variety). One of the feet also fell off on my first outing (oh so that's why all my Blackpool shots took ages to set up) and they never had any others in stock so I had to fork out 30 quid on a full spike feet set.
And it's not completely wobble free, even when everything is tightened up.
Did I just put anyone off?
You get free stickers!!
£40 quid for the head.
Tripods........minefield........
I bought cheap twice before spending £300 on one. The cost of the two cheaper ones was £260, they did not do what I wanted, since buying the Benro, i`m not even tempted to look at other tripods.
I have never had the TLT tripod so cannot give an opinion either way.
Can you get one, see if it suits or not,if not return it?

Any reviews??
otherwise ok.
Just ok?
Still waiting for mine, they had some issues with stock and their courier but have made it up to me apparently! Great service so far, really impressed with the brand so far.

Did email them but heard nothing back.

Hi
All the ball heads I've had including two from 3LT have a 3/8" thread.
The Manfrotto monopod I have has a combined 3/8" and 1/4" thread, so I think a 3LT ball head should fit. If not you can get a 1/4" to 3/8" bush off Fleabay for very little.

Chris
going to 3LT facilities later today to buy Adrian and their gen 2 AH1. they are about 30min down the road from me.
Anyone got anything they'd like to ask or me to check out?
Any recomendations for a sturdy tripod from this range.
I am wanting one for long exposures, so as good as it is I need something a bit more solid than my current Manfrotto 190XPROB.
Also I'm 6'4" so one with a decent height would be good but I'm more concerned with stability than height as I can always bend my back.
