Weq4u app makes most otherwise chargeable numbers free to call...on android phones at least...

I'm waiting for one of my sisters to ring, she's a `caller withheld` :D I also wondered about adding the m/in law to the blocked list! :LOL:
 
You can also get a truecaller app for your mobile too

I think it might. Its like a crowdsourcing app. If people report the number as spam then it'll stop your phone from beeping.

I may be wrong of course but since installing it I'm not aware of getting any. Even though I used to get loads.

From their website it only works for calls and needs a 3G or wifi data connection to work.

Update.

2 weeks in & not a single junk call. Brilliant, especially as the car insurance is up for renewal next month & I've started searching/comparing online and they tend to want a phone number, so they can pester you :D
 
Same here, brilliant isn't it, it's blocked a few that I only find when I check the call list (y)
