Go on......what have you found......
Thats why there called dream cars......
Gutted Matt, I'd hate to be trying to find a job in the current climate. What have you found?
Mini 1.0 with bucket seats and three point harnes and mini speedlight wheels and a stainless exhaust and new rear and front sub frame!

The insurance company would crucify you for it having bucket seats and 3 point harnesses and stainless steel exhausts make a horrible racket on Minis.
There you go, it was a close escape really![]()

Nah, they only crucify you when you drop a 1275 engine in them.
Bucket seats/harnesses would be mildly warm by comparison.
tbh the right insurance company will not change the price and say the mods are not insured.

Not declaring the mods invalidates your insurance so if he was involved in an accident, the insurance company wouldn't cover the car. Not the best advice
And being a new 17 year old driver, having mods on a car will heavily affect the premium.

Bucket seats and harnesses suggest that you're going to be playing racing drivers on the road, which a lot of insurance companies aren't happy with
I loved my Minis.....especially the pick-up![]()

Mind you my first Mini had a straight pipe front to back with just Peco "silencer" on it. It was a tad on the noisy side![]()
