I have my first weigh in the morning, YAY! nice timing for two people to retire from the thread as two people join in :)

Target Weight - 14 Stone (which still leaves me slightly overweight, but just about on the boarder)

Well this week I did get weighed on saturday morning due to curry on saturday night (usually weigh in sunday morning) well I still weigh the same, not lost anything and was and still am feeling a bit down about it, but apart from saturday which I planned not to count my points I have stuck to my points (doing weight watchers) but really fed up. Matts birthday tomorrow and off out for tea again, so going to try to be good. Having chocolate cravings myself, so just make a Options Hot chocolate which is very nice and is helping :) Must keep at it.

Well done to those who have reached their target weights, check back to see how the rest of us are doing occassionally. As for the rest of you keep up the good work and we will all get there one day.

I know exactly what u mean about feeling unmotivated...dont worry, at least you havnt gained anything and are still keeping up with your WW points! Thats the main thing. Don't worry, keep at it, as u said we will all get there eventually :)
 
well...
after stalling at 17st8lb for 2 weeks the scales are finally being kind again
another 2lb off so it's 17st 6

congrats to everyone still here especially the ones who have met targets and bowed out, an inspiration ... lordy do I need some of that !:lol:

Current Weight : ditto

I am about 6ft 1in so I want to get to about 82kg (just over 12 and a half stones I think). As soon as it is light at 6:30am I will get back to cycling to work on days when the weather is fine so that should help.

Boooo, put on 1lb this week!!!! dunno how, i stick to my eating plan like glue. Not disheartened though, its the first bit ive put on since starting, besides, you have to smell defeat before you can taste victory.
Gonna burn it up big style next week.

I'm fairly impressed. Two trips to the curry house and I lost half a pound.

Yay \o/

Still, we ate fairly sensibly and didn't over do it but for a week where I had a steak and ale pie, two lots of chicken tikka and naan bread, a croissant and some cake - I think thats pretty damn good. That gives me the confidence to say "yes, its my birthday, I'm going to have fun without being a pig".

So anyway, here we go.

Well I am pleased I have lost weight this week, it is only a pound but been out for two curry's since I last got weighed and have had birthday cake.

So back to it and sticking at it, still enjoying it.

Thats great news you too. half a pound is half a pound more than none, and a pound is a pound more than none :D

Best way to look at it too.....You can enjoy, just in moderation, there's no need to be a pig about it :D

I weighed myself this morning too. I had a curry last week at the meet, and we went out for tea last night, so I haven't been brilliant this week, but better than usual. No late night full meals, just snacks (fresh yoghurt and fruit etc).

Start Weight : 20st 7lb
Current Weight : 19st 12lb

Current Weight Loss : 00st 9lb
Time Taken : 2 months 7 days

Its not the best result, but it's in the right direction.
I went to the gym on friday night, which I'm really pleased about, did quite well too.
I was planning to go again today, but the DOMS has set in (Delayed Onset of Muscle Soreness), so Im too sore to go today. My wife is off tomorrow, so I'll be going tomorrow instead.

And again on wednesday (if not too sore).
I think if I get into the routine of going to the gym, and make it a habit, Im hoping it will be harder to break.

The soreness will pass as you exercise again.

I was still 79/80kgs today at the gym
Managed to knock off a decent amount of cals on the treadmill during a 12k jog, so that made up for a total blow out yesterday.

On the Saturday, I'd had a bit of a stressy day at work so really pigged out on the wrong types of food and beer.


Well done to the rest of you for keeping it going and even losing :thumbs:

LOL I cant straighten my legs today :p
Strangely it's normally the weights that do it, but its my hamstrings / behind my knees that are sore today because of how long I was on the cross trainer. I only did my upper body on all the weights machines.

Hoping to go tomorrow, and if I don't do too much (depending on how sore I am), I'm still going to work up a sweat and get a bit knackered doing it.
 
You need to stretch the muscles, that'll take the ache away
 
Thats the thing, I was in such a rush to get back into the changing room for my 365 (with a still-sweaty face), I didn't stretch :$ My bad I know.

Start weight: 12st 3lb
Current weight: 11st 5lb

Weight loss so far: 12lb
Time taken: 9 weeks

Am pleased with that, although i don't think i look like i've lost that much! I think i need to up the exercise a bit to get more obvious results but am still doing half an hour of an exercise dvd almost every day so can't really find the time to do more!

Hows everyone else getting on?:)

End of my first week

Well after a couple of not so good days, what with a friends birthday and the chocolate fudge cake calling my name, then out yesterday and having a very cheesy lasagne with jacket potato I am proud to announce that I have lost a pound this week, and am happy with that.

Plan is to be back at work tomorrow night (well we will see how that goes) I should be doing more walking around so that might help speed it up again a bit more. Also looking at going swimming as well so know that will help.

I stayed the same this week, which is impressive considering the size of the mega sundae for one I had on wednesday proceeded by the mixed grill.

Still it was nice to have a splurge :D

Oh dear, i'v had a rubbishy week too! Ate rather rubbishly Tuesday, Weds and Thursday and then out for a curry on Friday...oops. oh well, im back on it now! Well done Sue, thats a great loss, also well done to Matt, and Marcel dont worry! just get back on it when you can and those pounds will come off again! :D
 
I too have added a couple of pounds this week, been feeling run down in general and picked up a couple of mouth ulcers to depress me further :(

So, with bad feeling comes comfort food.

Still, I've just completed my first gym session since last week and I think i'm firing on on cylinders again.

Well done everyone so far.

I've managed a loss of 1lb since my last weigh in. Still not doing very well and think my week away near Newcastle next week might just put it back on but what the heck. I can't wait to get on to that Northumbrian coastline. Need better weather so I can start walking in an evening again.
