You have lost over a stone!! well done you:clap: so we will see a new avatar in 6 weeks

WOW some fabulous achievements on here.

I have a whopping loss of 0.0 lbs this week!!

I did horrible with my food this weekend so I'm a bit shocked I didn't gain. And this next weekend is the SuperBowl. It really doesn't look good. I do start a weight loss thing at work and not having that extra push at work may be just what I need.

Well anyway congrats to you all!

Week 4

Start weight - 17st
Target weight - 15st

Total loss 7lbs

Only 2lbs in the last two weeks but slow and steady wins the race.

Quick update - today I managed to drag myself to the gym before work!!

Most of last year I would go before work 4 mornings a week and go once or twice at weekends, but since October when the clocks changed I've only been about 3 or 4 times in total. Just can't get up early enough. Now I've done it, I'm determined to keep it up.

OK I only did 30 mins of treadmill/crosstrainer/bike, but I don't care, I feel v pleased about it!!

Sadly, to compensate for this achievement today, I ate 3 mini-rolls and 10 biscuits yesterday :'(

That was my first bad day since I started so I'm desperately hoping if I'm good for the rest of the week I'll be able to make up for it.

You guys who've lost a stone and more -:clap::thumbs::clap: to you!

Thanks everyone.....

To be honest I have so much to loose I personally dont think you can see a great difference but my clothes are looser.

A new avator.... when I get the 3 stone mark... or maybe 2!! he he he

By kind permission of Fixedwheelnut I have copied his chart (except for the weights)

Only 1lb this time  maybe I have lost the bulk of my excess fat and the rate will slow now.

Well done done everyone else:thumbs:

I feel really guilty now, having signed up to this on the first page and then posting nothing for weeks. As it was, I decided to postpone starting till I had come back from Scotland, then lack of funds meant no shopping trip to stock the fridge with healthy food! So here I am posting my progress for what has been my first week;

Wait loss this week: 6lb
Total loss: 6lb
Time taken: 7 days

 Well done to everyone else who has been posting updates on this thread, you have all achieved something be it a big loss or a small one

Finally back where I started and hope to keep it there or lower :)
Start weight 14st 1lb
Current weight 14st 1lb
5 weeks loss 0lb

Had a bad week this week - lots of eating out which wasn't good, hence a 1.5lb gain this week. Back on track now though :)

Start weight 10st 11.5lb
This week 10st 5.5lb
Total loss = 6lb

Weighed in at WW tonight.
Lost another 1lb. Despite going to a party
START WEIGHT 22st 1lb
WEIGHT NOW 21st 2lb
TOTAL LOSS 13lb
TIME TAKEN 3 weeks

Keep on keeping on:thumbs:
Dean:)

Well, end of month one!

Start weight 14st 6lb (bmi 25.1 - over weight by 0.1)
End weight 13st 2lb (bmi 23.4 about! - ideal is 22-23)

total loss 16lb, 2in waist....

everything fits again and I can now run up and down the 16 flights of stairs at work without getting short of breath.

This was an inspirational idea everyone is bouncing their thoughts off each other and it seems to be helping everyone.

Not only have I lost more than half the weight I need to loose I am eating healthily too.

5 fresh veg/fruit a day ! nawwww 8 and loving it.

Sorry i'm not bragging about anything i'm just chuffed to bits about the turn around. Mrs Cowasaki (novicesnapper) has also lost more than a stone too and is eating the same healthy diet.

Gilliam McKeiff could come round and look in our fridge and wouldn't be able to say anything!

Well Done Cowasaki, Minimeeze and indeed everyone on here! its often hard to keep going but everyone seems to be doing well :D

Wow. Well done everyone for keeping it up.

I had a blowout last weekend :( Not proud of it, but I know where I went wrong, and trying not to do it again.
I had a chinese takeaway last night too, but ate less than I usually do, but did things like went for normal chicken instead of crispy/fried, and got boiled rice too.

Weighed myself the other day and I had put on 4 lb...but then weighed myself that night (when I should have been heavier, I'm always heavier at night), and I'd only put on 1lb!

So I'm leaving it a few days before I weigh in again.

My jeans are slightly looser now, and that extra notch on the belt, while still a bit tight sometimes, isnt positively painful to squeeze into, which is a good sign.

Time to up the exercise I think!

WELL DONE TO EVERYONE ON HERE!

Whether you have lost little or much - you have the guts to do something:clap::clap::clap:

I have hit a bit of a plateau and cannot get under 92,x kg's (6'2")

Must get below 90 kg's...maybe LOTS of swimming has built a bit of muscle mass 'cause my trousers though comfortable do not seem to be fitting more loosely...

Can somebody PLEASE tell me how many pounds there are to a stone?

A little tip for everyone too.

If you want to convert your weight, use google!

Just type in, for example the following, into google

14st in pounds

235 pounds in stones

140 pounds in kilos

14 kilos on stones

(converting to stones, gives you a decimal figure, so take the remainder and convert that into pounds)

Well done to everyone :)

I'll be updating the thread with my loss for the week tomorrow morning. I know theres a loss because I put my belt into the 4th hole midweek without realising it. I thought it was a little tighter than usual around tea time and thought I must have had a full tummy, looked down and realised it was on the next hole.

So I'm taking that as a good sign ;)

Well done

I'm sitting steady at 79/80 kgs now so I'm pretty happy with that, but i have a bit of a wobble still on the tummy, that needs to relocate it's self pretty sharpish onto my biceps :D

Mrs Galaxy says I have lost my "love handles":D

Well done

What are you...?

A scrawny barsteward or a fat midget:naughty:

80 kgs:gag::lol::lol:

Start Weight :/ 23st 1lb (146.8kg)
Current Weight : 22st 5lb (141.9kg)

Loss this week : 1lb (0.4kg)
Total Weight Loss : 00st 10lb (4.5kg)
Time Taken : 30 days

Lost a pound this week, I thought it might have been more but its okay a loss is still a loss and I'm up to 10lb now. I might try a little harder this week and lower my points score to experiment and just see what happens. 4lbs away from a stone :)

Start Weight: 20st 4lb
Current Weight: 18st 13lb

Weight Loss This Week: 6lb
Current Weight loss: 01st 5lb
Time taken: 28days

Well I am really pleased again this week, I cant quite decide on how I am loosing so much weight so quickly. I am following weight watchers, and I am using nearly all my points everyday, and only saving a couple during the week. I have started having breakfast, and not snacking as much, so I know it works. Anyway, I am pleased.

Congratulations everyone else on your weight losses which ever way you are going about it, and keep up the good weight losses.

Might be interesting to see how much in total everyone has lost since starting, like a total TP weight reduction :naughty: theres a job for someone.

Well congrats to matt and sue and everyone (again) lol

I weighed myself this morning, and I'm bang on 20st 1lb. So I'm going to take that weight, and use Sundays as my weighin day I think.

Sue, so much weight loss, usually at the start of a 'health kick' (I hate the word diet), is often partly water. That's not to say its not weight loss of course. It is, and youve done bloody well!
It's also a good turnaround, it shows your body is getting rid of what it doesn't need or want, which is excess fat and excess water. Strangely enough, the more water you drink, the less you keep in your body (although that does make sense I suppose)

LOL I like that total weight reduction idea :D

Has everyone noticed their general fitness levels getting better?

Sunday morning weigh-in details:

Start weight 9st 9lb
current weight 9st 5.75lb
total loss 3.25 lb
time taken 3 weeks 2 days

almost exactly one pound per week. Blimey this is going to be a slow process at that rate! I know why though - I'm DEFINATELY doing the right stuff as far as eating & drinking goes, in fact I'm quite proud of myself for sticking to it as much as I have, but I need to get some excercise and I keep putting it off.
I did go to the gym once during the week and then yesterday. Might be able to squeeze an hour in later today too (building flatpack wardrobes at the moment).
If I go 3 or 4 times a week it speeds up my weight loss by miles.

Anyhow, I'm going in the right direction. Best keep positive!
Like Marcel says, I can really feel a difference in my general health - just putting nutritious and low fat food inside of you instead of fat and chocolate and alcohol does the trick, dunnit?

WELL DONE yet again to everybody for sticking at it and specially people like Sue, Matt, Glitter, etc who are fast becoming shadows of their former selves!!

Marcel might leave that total weight reduction up to you though, something else to keep you busy.

I dont know why my weight loss is so great, I am really pleased about it thought, but couldnt say where I have lost it from, clothes not feeling any looser or anything like that, might have to find a tape measure and take some measurements and compare once a month or something like that.

Think I am really going to have to start this! Keep saying that, but then put it off :p

off to find the scales! :|

wanna hand?

I had to ask......it was wrong not to :naughty:

Have got two of my own thanks :p (hands, that is!!)

Well done everyone, keep up the good work and healthy eating. I'm back on track this week, but why does the weight come off all the wrong places?
