What RSS reader do you fellow iPhone users use? Iam using newsstand atthe mo, finding it pretty good.

Cheers all - added!

On a personal note:
LOVING Hipstamatic! Cheers Treeman!

Snappy is very handy!

Have you given up with Google Reader? (I'm sure you had a thread about it before?) That is what I use for RSS on my iPhone, as it is a web service it is synced whichever device I look at it on.

Sometimes there are a few too many apps where a normal webpage would do the job just as well/better.

3 apps that I use are:

Notemaster - a good replacement for the standard Notes app. Allows different fonts and themes to be used. Also syncs with Google Docs (which works well when the Docs server is working!)

PhotoSharpFree - applies sharpening to images held either in the Camera Roll or Photo Library. Amended pics are then saved in the Camera Roll.

DSLRemote - enables a number of Canon and Nikon DLSRs to be remote controlled from an iPhone. Pro (£11.99) and Lite (£1.99) versions are available. The Pro version enables camera settings to be changed. Requires the camera to be connected via USB to a computer and links to the iPhone over a WiFi connection. Works brilliantly. With a camera supporting Liveview, you can even monitor the live image on your iPhone.

Yeah using google reader, but find using an app makes it easier to read/manage all your feeds.

Some Apps from an iPhone fanatic :) (I have 285 apps!)

Autostitch - great panos

DLSR remote - control your laptop tethered DSLR using your iphone over wifi, with live view on your phone!!

Polarize (free) - cool polaroid pic creator with comments added to the white strip

ProCamera - camera app with zooming, anti-shake etc

Legophoto (free) creates a mosaic with lego bricks from a photo, touch to randomise colours

Dropbox (for mac, PC, linux and iphone) online storage, sync between computers, 2.5Gb free plus up to an extra 3Gb (in 500Mb blocks) when you refer others (my referral link is here)
If you put images in the dropbox image folder then you can view them in a slideshow on the iPhone.

Other cool apps:

pocket universe and skywalk, both planetarium apps that use your gps position and compass (3GS). You hold them up to the sky and they display all the stars/objects in the night sky. :)

Evernote - write notes, clip webpages, take photos and sync them across your computers, phones and web. All for free.

rightmove - very useful if your looking for a new house. If your out and about you can use your gps position to find information on properties for sale in the area, check out google maps etc.

Yeah using google reader, but find using an app makes it easier to read/manage all your feeds.

I used an RSS app for months but found it was a real pain since it meant anything I read on the move wasn't updated as read when I was using Google Reader on the PC - once I switched to Google Reader on the iPhone then there's nothing to sync anymore, it's just updated as I read!

I made it a bit easier for myself by putting a bookmark to Reader on the app screen so it's one-click like anything else.

+1 for google reader

And thanks for suggesting http://hipstamaticapp.com/ I'm really loving this app, so much fun!!

I knocked together this little slideshow/video using Hipstamatic, iPhone video and iMovie. It was almost dark so I was never going to get any nice sharp shots with my iphone. So why not go completely retro :)

Cheers one and all!

From now on if anyone would like an app added please could they use the format in the OP - ie provide a link to the website and the app store link if poss...see Ven's posts.

If we get people just stating every app they have downloaded, the list will rapidly just become a directory of what is available - and it is taking a fair amount of effort to keep it up to date! The whole idea of the thread was to get TPers top Apps and new exciting ones together.

Cheers All!

SleepCycle might be worth a bash. Tried it last night and it works, I just need to actually get up when it recommends me too :)

I was in serious doubt. But it appears to be fairly decent so far. It makes sense, and I think it's accurate, as far as i can tell considering I was asleep :D

Added All but last two. Staff, could we have another post right after the OP please?

That's actually (almost) impossible to do Matt as it involved a huuuuuge amount of faffing.

However, fortunately for you, I was the first to post after you in this thread and I can change the post owner from me to you. So I've given my post in sacrifice and you now have an empty post No2 to fill :)

All added and up to date.

Added one of my own suggestions - FTP on the Go - allows you to access FTP from iPhone - very handy for uploading pics to share on TP on the move

Anyone with a Nikon DSLR should search on the App Store for Min-U Guides.......they do an App for most cameras.
