really enjoyed this year, actually got me taking pictures of stuff out of my comfort zone, definitely up for it next year!
 
I'll give it a go, after a few years hiatus. My trouble is, keeping up with comments.
I'll have to refresh myself on how to set up my thread.

I think doing this challenge and then the DPOY is enough to keep you ticking over - as much as I like the idea of a 365 I think it would make photography like a chore - some days it’s just very hard to take a photo exactly how you want it for various reasons, and having some space to stop and breathe is also the space where you grow, imo.
 
What are the guidelines for the image to be used? Must it be taken in the week of the theme?
 
Your submission should ideally be taken in the week following the notification of a theme, but we do permit catch-ups if you get a bit behind. It's not a competition, it's intended to provide a framework, theme and structure to get people out taking photographs.
 
I have been talked into it, but only after having arm twisted and being told that my pictures are getting better and that it has helped.

See all the good folks interpretation of the themes give lots of potential ideas, I have enjoyed this year and look forward to next.

Was looking doubtful for this year but i’m close to caught up so i’ll have another go.
Thank you to admins and all the other participants for giving a great reason to take the camera out and trying out new subjects.
 
Count me in, I had a big wobble in the latter half of the year and needed a big catch up. Good to get back to a normal again!

Right - I last and only time I completed the '52 was in 2010 - I've promised myself that 2026 will be the year I focus more on photography for fun - once I started photographing a few weddings I started to see it as more of a vaguely pleasant chore than fun!

Please sign me up!
 
Will throw my hat into the ring and try again to try and justify the new camera :) .

Personal aims will be to get an image up and comment on at least one a day to keep it manageable.

(How many themes can i shoehorn the puppy into I wonder).
 
Go on then, put me down. Hoping 2026 will let me see more than just the house, supermarket and work. I say 2026, I mean that the kids will want to leave the house so we can see interesting stuff and I can take photos

That is my downfall also, I see so many wonderful, inspirational images and do not allocate the time necessary that this aspect of the challenge deserves.

This is the same for me. I start with all good intentions, then find it increasingly harder to keep up with comments. I partly think this is because I find myself repeating the same comments on every post. Which doesn't seem fair.
 
Well, we can hope and try our best! I agree though that we seem to have a bunch of very enthusiastic folk signed up for next year who have been delivering well in other challenges this year.

Probably the only thing I will do ahead of time lol
 
Please can I be put down for this years also; I’ve had two false starts (but both got me enjoying time with the camera). Recently life has just been Kids, Sleep, Work, Repeat….so I need a distraction again. Fingers crossed

I’ll create my thread shortly
