I'd just like to say thank you to the pratt that thought it was acceptable to just drive straight at me on a single track road, without slowing down or moving over onto the verge, leaving me to drive right off the road onto the verge!

This is in addition to my daily thanks to all the muppets on the A1(M) that don't know which lane they should be using, forget to use indicators, tailgate and generally drive like a bunch of monkeys!
 
I haven't been indicating lately cos mines broken :(

Ill be damned if I am sticking my arm out of the window though like a cyclist :lol:

Best thing for the A14 would be to dig it up and move it somewhere into the Atlantic, hatefull road:razz:

But that would mean I'd have to use the M11/A120 round Stansted... which is worse (marginally, and only because it's a single carriageway road)

n*bh*ads who drive too close behind when i'm driving at the speed limit. at these times i think about inventing a harpoon gun with could pop out of the boot.
 
bloody tradesmen, you phone them up to get an estimate for some work i need doing and they either dont bother to pick up the phone, dont get back to you when they say they will, dont turn up when they say they will and just generally act annoying! all i want is a shower fitting and some gas work done.


its as if they dont want my business, but as they;re people that have been recommended to me as uposed to just playing the yellow pages lottery a there are so many dodgy folk about i prefer to work on recommendations!

i agree with that.


why is it that the road system works reasonably well in this country, the majority of people can deal with a car doing upto 70mph even when the roads are tight and there are people around.....

but give people a shopping trolley and people just act like t***s!

These work whilst walking at least:
1) Puff up your chest, draw your shoulders back, and stand up straight, look forwards vacantly into the middle distance, and stride as self importantly as you can totally ignoring those who are moving slowly, they suddenly move just in time.

2) again draw yourself to your full height and walk as fast as your legs carry you, slip pass people however you can looking like you're in a terrible rush, no one will say a word. (this can be particularly fun if you're on a cabled hands free kit and in a dark suit... people make the oddest assumptions)

My turn again :D

Just spent the last 2 hours fixing a computer here, we bought a new one with Vista on, but with a "downgrade" CD to get it onto vista.. Used the CD, it removed all the vista files, and then crashed.

Tried it again, wouldn't install as it couldn't find the original files (that it'd deleted!!)

Sorted in the end, all running xp :D

cretins who use phones while driving. paying attention to anything apart from where theyre going.AND cant use their indicators cos their hands are full.
some k*** nearly had me off the bike (powered) yesterday cos he wasnt paying attention. straight across two lanes of traffic with no indication with me coming down the outside 20 mph faster than him.. yup , you guessed it. on the f...... phone.
