Just got in from the most INFURIATING drive of my life.

Stuck in Traffic with a turn left junction. Bus stop on the road you turn on to, about 10 yards down from the junction. Light goes green as bus stops to let people on. Idiot 4 cars in front refuses to budge. In my opinion, plenty space for him to pull in behind.

Same thing happens 3 times before I let rip with the horn. he just will not budge!!! :bang:

Then, 10 min later, I am half way home. Car is indicating right, so I pull into the left lane (Like everyone does) instead of stopping and waiting. Guy in front of me pulls HALF into the left lane, and slams breaks almost to a stop!!! He then looks at me and smiles, and goes nice and slow, with two wheels in the bus lane, and the rest of his car in the right lane. A bus comes, he moves fully into the right lane, waits on bus to pass, places half his car into the bus lane again.

WHERE THE HELL DO THESE PEOPLE COME FROM :bang:

The guy at the lights was just stupid. The chap with half his car in the bus lane? A brain dead monkey, absolute IDIOT :bang: :bang: :bang:

Oh and by the way, after a brilliant night out last night, we got to bed late, and the total ******* in the room above us thought it was a good idea to walk around in fricking iron boots until 2am, and then started up again at 5am! Combined with dustbin lorries outside and a snoring bloke, Betty got very little sleep :( AND had to drive home from Manchester in a hot car with no air con :(:(

I'm fed up with reading posts on TP and having the scroll through egotistical, opinionated claptrap from know-it-alls who seem to never have time for anyone else's opinions. The point of the original post is all too often lost when said know-it-alls start to argue the finer points of a fart when someone inadvertantly uses the wrong terminology or just says something they think is wrong.

Forums are great, freedom of speech is great but now and then I really do wish people who think they know it all (but rarely do) would just shut up and let other people get involved.

Firkin company internal mail, waiting for a my new lens, RMSD deliver it on Tuesday, hunt high and low for it, no sign of it anywhere. Go to the warehouse today to look for it myself, walk into returns, see cage, open cage, top box is my parcel clearly labelled for my attention

I'm a very careful driver usually but on a wide empty road on the outside of town where the limit was once 40 and coming round a blind corner, they know exactly how to get you :( no warning signs either.

For the most part, I dislike the human race.
Every day, you hear about the terrible things people will do through greed, jealousy and pure malice and each time I read, I feel justified in feeling that a large proportion of people are simply here to fill the space. I despise that a large proportion of people still tiptoe around anyone they view as 'different'. Either that, or they judge them and treat them as if they are some kind of freak, rather than another person with feelings. I have had that most of my life, simply because I react differently, show my emotions differently and speak my mind.

I learnt sometime ago, that unless you say what people want to hear, you are out. And if you indicate in the slightest that you have problems, you become a 'whiner' or an 'attention seeker' or something slightly distasteful. Most people accept the social rule that if someone asks how you are, you must reply with 'oh, I am great' or 'I am fine', regardless of whether it is the truth or not.

I came to the conclusion long ago, that anyone who reacts negatively to my honesty about who I am, is not worth my bothering with to begin with. So yeah my rant is about the way a lot of society judges those who are different and who do not fit into what is defined as 'normal'.
 
If you're going to send an email round operating a clean desk policy, then at least have the decency to leave MY desk in a tidy state when I have a day off, for the love of GOD :bang::bang:

I need another rant... this one is really bugging me and maybe someone could give me some advice once my rant is over!?

So... my sister got married over the weekend (yey sis!) lovely day, perfect in fact. Everything runs smooth, everyone was happy, the bride and groom looked stunning... And then we have the photographer!!!!!!!!!

Firstly he SHOUTS at my sister for not understanding his instructions on where to put her arm or follow his instructions (I know she's good at taking direction as I regularly use her as one of my models, he was just S**T at giving them), then he actually called one of the wedding guest cheap and trashy to her face (she wanted a garter shot of my sister), and then didn't even bother to take some of the standard shots like my sis with just my mum or dad, or even friends or the whole wedding party!

She paid over £1250 for him alone, so am I being unreasonable by being really angry??? Grrrrrrrr............

3 month wait at least on NHS for the op to help with pain management in my leg so I use the private healthcare that I pay monthly (and not cheap). Insurance company this morning tell me I'm no longer covered for my leg as it's incurable and chronic and no longer an acute ailment which is all they cover.

Can't go private on my own as far too expensive and really can't afford it, can't go with another private healthcare scheme as leg is not covered as it's a pre-exisiting condition.....had to cancel my op which was in a couple of weeks at private hospital and now have to put up with pain for another 3 months or more :(

There is a white only newspaper, The Daily Mail! In all seriousness its not a race divide in the uk its a fiscal one, a friend of mine, is the son of a weathy business man who made a lot of money in oil, works as a computer progammer, has a private school accent, and reads the telegraph, he's also black with a huge afro (which comically he keeps pens and pencils in); yet a guy who was in my form was living on the bread line, and totally identified with the black subculture, had you spoken to him on the phone, you really wouldn't have thought he was white.

I almost agree, but there is frequently much more to a situation that meets the eye, the ones who are spoilt are the ones I fully expect to be most unfulfilled and unstable, material goods often make a bad situation worse, having what you want when you want does eventually cause people to get seriously ****ed up...
