What a joke these guys are now, I was a long standing member for years untill 10 minutes ago, It all started last month when they sent me a letter saying they could not get the monthly payment from our bank, so I checked the bank and no problem there so I phoned RAC to find out what was happening.
They cannot take payment because the account name is not mine its Eileens, so why the problem now they have only been taking it for a few YEARS for the same car with no call outs whatsoever, so the gent on the phone sorted this for me or so we thought.
For the last couple of weeks we have recieved our new card and details along with the same letter every day stating they cannot take payment and after numerous phone calls which all the time ends with "you will have no more problems or letters" what a joke now they have sent me a letter stating my cover has ran out because of their incompetance so I gave them one last phone call to let them know I am now covered by the AA and lo and behold a text message on my mobile saying it was a clerical error and did I want to use the same bank account SOD OFF was the answer then an email asking the same to which I told them exactly what I thought of them and I now have AA cover for £1.48 a month less but the cover is better....no more text or email messages
