Don't leave the seat up when you're doing the cleaning then :naughty::exit:

The irony of your username giving throne room advice!!!!

If the toilet seat is left up, as has been mentioned, when you flush, germs are sprayed everywhere.

Worst still, if one of my cats drinks out of the toilet when it's been bleached, it could die. It seems closing the bathroom door is even harder than putting the seat down!

I don't know what sort of toilet you lot have, but on mine when you flush the water cascades down the porcelain into the bowl then flushes the doings round the ubend - it doesnt spray with massive force and fill the air with vapour (also like mark I lived alone for 8 years and didnt come to any harm from leaving the seat permanently up)

I'd also hope that the average cat would have more sense than to drink bleach - cats can however open doors (or at least the one i used to have could )

Far easier to just have the toilet in it's own little room :D

Lol - yeah whatever - but may be best not mention your toilet seat obsession to the next bloke you meet until well after the first date ;)

even easier not to live with a bloke, let them take their dirty washing and habits home

Is there a rule about how long threads with "dumped" in the title can dwell on toilets as a subject matter?

Your out of the running now,

failed the toilet seat test :nono:

He already was, too argumentative by far! I quite fancy a nice quiet life now.

18 pages and no pictures. Might have to lock it if this keeps up

About time for a lonely hearts section on TP?

Lol, will we then have to pay to send and receive messages, could be some income for the Forum i guess :D

A lonely hearts would be even worse than the classifieds to sort out when it got ugly!!

what would be the criteria for lonely hearts access then? :suspect:

I know how you feel princess. My and the wife split up back in October, 2 years married back in August and we have a wee boy together. Still is hard even now but it gets easier.

Clarke.

Could you imagine the feedback on the users, that could be very amusing. Just imagine it with some of the users names on here.

And the poor Mods would still have to explain to hopeful singles that they can't just join the forum to find love! :D

Would be a bit like someone working in an estate agent's,
to get the pick of the properties as they come on the market.

Mods privilege ;)

More like someone working at the Dog and Cat home......

If you'd nearly lost your home due to a break up, you'd probably be alot more wary.

While we weren't married, untangling ownership of the house was still a struggle, but we bought it as tennants in common with defined shares rather than joint tennants so there was little argument. I ended up buying her out in stages as she was too impatient to wait for it to sell, which wasn't happening quickly as a result of her being too greedy on the asking price. Crippled me financially for several years and was a permenant stress having the yoke of a debt to someone I could barely stand to look at hanging over me. I'm plenty wary :(

When her name was finally off the deeds, I celebrated by spending most of a year's salary on the Porsche. Possibly not the most financially astute decision ever, but I don't regret it :naughty:

I nearly lost my home when I got divorced some years ago too. My house is now in my sole name and I'd prefer it to stay that way.

Your Porsche beats my three pairs of shoes :'( I need to do more shopping it seems.

i feel your pain regarding ex's and property ownership..

In case anyone thought I'm posting rather a lot, I'm in an identical situation. Talk Photography gives me a focus :} ❥

Sorry to hear that. It's pants isn't it? I'm trying to fill my time as much as possible and not think about it too much.

Is there a prize going for the most times someone can mention what car they own?

Come on mods, how hasn't this been picked on with a unique user title yet? You're all slacking!:lol:
