Phew ..busy Christmas... we've just finished converting my car to electric, we've swapped the petrol engine for the motor from an old tumble dryer, .... albeit it wouldn't start at first, then I realised I hadn't shut the door properly....

Not a joke as such but this amused me.
On another forum I saw a thread where someone was considering having a flight in a Sptifire and asked for comments from anyone who had done such a flight.
This lead to questions about the cost to which one person replied - " They ought to do a discounted version which allows you to bale out over the French coast and make your own way back."
