The Official TP Funnies thread ( Jokes Memes etc )

More like on the breadline really, but it does take the biscuit ....
( :coat: )

I was trying to get a good look, of them, in one image the one climbing seems to have white socks front paws.
that'll make it a feral rat or even a pet rat, rather than a true wild, could be a "set up" Especially as the end of the video says "We pay cash" for video's.
Yes, I find it so hard to get a good look at those videos (obscured by ads) but when I first saw it I thought I saw some ’pet’ colouring but then I couldn’t spot it when I looked again and I gave up!

There are lab strains that are almost indistinguishable from wild -- I remember them rather well as I had one run up inside my trouser leg when it escaped — classic! and the only time it happened :).

Indeed there are, the name escapes me for now, but they have white socks.
And in latter years made it into the pet market, hence my comment

My first job at 16 on an industrial estate, at lunchtime on nice days we would sit outside and have the rats from the ditch take bits of our sandwiches from our hands.

i once saw a family who were at ikea buying a wardrobe trying to get it to fit in a BMW 3 series..their solution to the long pieces..ie the doors etc, was to wind both back windows down and slide them through sticking out either side by a good couple of feet...it looked like a plane, god only knows the pandemonium they caused on the M62 going home

A bloke did that on the A38 in Devon a few years back. According to the reports, he was given the option of calling for a friend with a van to collect the oversized material. Instead, it seems, he sawed everything in half to fit inside the car.

A chap who used to drink in our local bought a Christmas tree, 12 feet tall.

Of course when he got home it wouldn’t fit in the lounge so got his jig saw out and cut a hole in the floorboards for the trunk to go into.

That would have been considered perfectly normal in SA! :)

I've stopped calling the karzi the John and now call it the Jim.

I can now say I visit the Jim regularly.

Red hot chilli peckers!

The tips (or at least the one I tested for heat) are quite mild but once you get to the seed carrying membrane bit, things heat up significantly! Tasty as well as adding some heat.

Better delete that from my "to post" folder before I repeat it!!!

In the meantime...
