Turn the lens...![]()
I will remember to tell the Currys guys how to turn it on next time I'm in there.actually that's quite a cool way of turning it on.
Turn the lens...![]()
remember trying an X20 in Currys, couldn't find an on/off switch neither could the assistant or his lol.how do they switch on and off?
Awesome.
Ha - looked at website - can't afford thatthats some Greater than Gatsby plugins in PSE and a bit of tweaking ( I can't remember which ones I did)
Didn't see that
Quick answer, Nick - no, I don't! In fact, unless I'm in adverse conditions (wind borne debris/spray) I don't use UV filters on any camera. I have a flower type lens cap on my X-20 which keeps the lens protected when the camera's off but as the camera's turned on, the extending lens pushes the petals open. Obstructs the OVF slightly but not too much.
Is that one of those 'pyramid scenes' I'm always being warned about?
ThanksVery nice.![]()

I also turned the b&w shot into a fisheye effect for my ETC project. I'll post it in a bit but it's on my Flickr if you want a look.
Thanks George. I felt they'd fell apart a bit in PP if I'm honest but I s'pose they're ok. Didn't fancy taking my dslr incase I got robbed.I also turned the b&w shot into a fisheye effect for my ETC project. I'll post it in a bit but it's on my Flickr if you want a look.
My favourite is the one inside the bus station with the orange seats. I thought it contrasted well. And the light trail with flashing lights, I couldn't get across the road fast enough.![]()
ThanksWow, these are great!! What a find.
