Well my bank cancelled my Fuji order because of a security check! Will need to reorder!
Think I've got the right link now! Left my laptop at work so doing it from phone https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151505488138385.546903.22932223384&type=3&l=bc2daa6ff0
I've added a retro white balance to suit the quirky vintage style couple
The main thing to remember is they are different beasts, the fuji is a pro camera with amazing iQ, to better it you need to be thinking full frame pro DSLR, consumer level DSLR's just cant touch it in that respect.
I sold off my Canon 500D & fast lenses to buy mine, I have no regrets at all.
Hi david357
OOI, could you please advise what made you prefer the X-pro over the OMD ?
Your input would be really appreciated.
Regards
Gary

Not being able to find higher end CSC and lenses in shops seems to be a major stumbling block for me and without trying one I don't feel confident buying blind.
The firmware upgrades (v2.0 upwards) improved the X-Pro 1's autofocus, but it's still not as quick as a DSLR with a phase detection based system by any means especially in low light. That's my view in comparison with my Nikons.
I think I read somewhere that the 55-200 is due about June/July.
Also, finally, are Fuji refurbs ok ?
Thanks again for the help.
Hi,
Does anyone know when the 55-200mm is being released?
Really that longanyone else using the adaptor and and longer lens? Also thanks for the info

whats the difference between the xpro1 and the xe-1? Are the lens mounts compatible? Apart from a smaller body i cant see much between them. I was just looking at the refurb store and noticed they have an xe-1 but no pro-1 and im tempted to splurge.

Looks very good Steve..
I had a quick go with a nikkor 300mm today, terrible light.. well no light really, very overcast and not much about but quickly grabbed a couple of collared doves on the feeder outside.. shot through the double glazing.
I'd forgotten how hard it is to manual focus a long lens, especially without a split prism finder!
Just levels and contrast boosted, otherwise jpg straight out of the camera. (no cropping at all)
