I got so fed up that I re-joined Slimming World last week...and I lost 4.5lb this week :D

If you REALLY want to lose weight, I can wholeheatedly recoomend a diet of getting so stressed that you can't eat and can't sleep. Throw in a trip to the gym most days to help excorcise your frustration, exist on a diet of mostly coffee, cigs and a few drinks and the pounds will find their own way out.

24 Kgs lost so far this year and down from size 40 trousers to a 34. Not a bad silver lining at all. :)

Well I just weighed in and I've lost 6.2 lbs this week! Yeah me!

just reading back on this thread, it seems I have lost almost 2 stone since the start of the year...not really sure how :| but not going to grumble.

Well, I've now lost 6.5lbs in the last 3 weeks so I'm feeling quite pleased with myself..... bring on those summer clothes :D The funny thing is I've eaten more food than ever - just eating healthy stuff rather than crap & stodge now. Just need to motivate myself to exercise and I'd lose weight a bit quicker and tone up too.
 
Congrats Mini! I was saying the same thing the other day I eat twice as much food as before it is just better for me! Lost another 2.5lbs this week.
 
Nah forget the summer clothes Min ... I sense a nude shoot coming on! :naughty:

Still some work to go before that happens Glo! Mind you, I was watching 'How to look good naked' last night..... and I'm sure I can look just as good - she was a size 20 and looked great, I'm a size 12 :) Would still like to firm up my wobbly bits first though :lol:

I only lost 1.5lbs last week. Not expecting great things this week.

Although have had most of my hair cut off so that should help, gotta be a lb, she says hopefully.

Thought about this - maybe getting a little flabby round the middle. I'm 6'3" and 16 stone - anyone know what i should be getting down to?

Its not as easy as just setting yourself a weight you should run on your BMI value and that is supposed to take into account your build and everything, i.e. you could be mr musclehead and weight 16 stone cos musclke weighs a lot or you could be 16 stone cos your overweight. The way to tell is find the BMI for you (you are about 29.5 actually) and then you need to find the percentile value so if your percentile is 95th you would be overweight cos most people of your BMI would be X value else if your percentile is 50th then your about right, see it easy peasy :lol:

I'm currently 118 pounds (8.4 stone, I believe). I'm less worred about pounds than I am about body fat measurements. Will have to have those done at the gym.

You can have some of my excess weight if you want :lol: I have about another 14lbs going spare ;)
 
Have any of you tried a stability ball for training. Well I just did my first 30 min work out of leg, arm and ab exercises and I'm a puddle of goo. I highly recommend this for not allot of cash outlay!
 
Just thought I'd share that I've now lost 17.8lbs since starting this the last week of April. I've gone down a side and lost over 2 inches off of my waist and 2.5 inches off my hips (unfortunately the boobs have gone too). So how are you all doing??
 
:clap: Well done Renee. It all went a bit wrong for me. I initially lost 7lbs, then kinda faltered and I think I've put most of it back on :embarrassed: I've decide that I quite like my new bra size :D Now if only I could lose weight from everywhere else, but keep my new boobs :lol:
 
My husband says I can have new boobs (perkier not necessarily bigger) once I lose all the weight and I get a tummy tuck too!
 
Don't bother you will all be slim when you are dead enjoy yourself live is 2 short:cuckoo:
 
I pledge that from today I will TRY again! lost a couple of pounds while on holiday last week so have made a start, also have a wardrobe FULL of lovely things to try and wear before the summer disappears! here goes!!!! :D
 
I too went the wrong way.

I've been suffering with an injury to my lower back for the last 3 weeks and i've put 5lb on :( so thats 13st 9lb now
 
Have nearly caught you up!!! I got to 11st 11lb :eek: :bonk: 11st 8.5lb this morning!!
 
all the bmi calculators want me to be 81Kgs or less to get a bmi of 25 :eek:

im going to make a big push now.
im on my hols in 13 weeks so its a target.
plus the wife is looking slimmer and slimmer all the time.. a def milf and i dont wana lose her so bye bye weight :razz:

Well, I managed to get down from 13st to just a whisper over 11st between Feb and last week.....but now after my hols....oh dear!!!:'( :'(


Can't seem to get back into the groove again, but I really will have to, as I threw out all my fat clothes (took to charity shops) and have bought new, so HAVE to get down again. Am aiming for just under 11st as I know I cannot maintain anything less. If Anton can give up the fags, I can give up carbs again, I hope.

I'm with you on that! I went from 11st 3lb down to 8st 12lb a few years ago, never thought I would put it all back on again:shake: it is even harder to lose the second time:( but i am going to try!!!!!!
