I have a bit of a list- small extract below
USB3 connectivity- it came out in 2008...
Integrated wireless
Proper app that works for controlling camera
100% viewfinder
IPX5 rating- not some nonsense about how it compares to another camera which compares to another one that no one has used- just use the standards available
8FPS min in RAW and a really big buffer such that I should get bored long before I hit it

1/8000 shutter speed or faster
1/250 flash synch or faster
Customisable buttons and usual controls although I would replace the QUAL button- don't see how anyone needs to constantly change mid shoot
Inbuilt level indicator on all axis
Back lit buttons
Quiet shutter that's actually quiet as it's currently just an oxymoron
AF at F8 with 5 cross type sensors min
Wide AF spread with 20 cross type sensors min
Ability to reliably track moving subjects- key word is 'reliably'
Storage media- 2 of something with a future
Video- personal pet hate of Nikon after promising much in 2008 and then just completely screwing it all up. Quite why they don't get it is beyond me and talk of 4k before they have got to grips with 1080 is highly amusing. I want all frame rates currently accepted as a standard irrespective of PAL or NTSC and a high bit rate.
Ability to control ISO, Aperture, Exposure, Shutter when in movie mode
Proper implementation of LiveView- zebra, peaking, live histogram
Around 20-24 MP- if I want MF resolution, I'll buy MF
3.5 inch LCD screen min with 1M dots
Tilt screen
Touch screen with revamped menu access
Clean images up to ISO3200 ie no noise- should be like ISO100- now there's a real improvement not just chasing the 'it goes up to 11' numbers game
Clean images at ISO100 ie don't screw up one end at the expense of the other
Integrated grip (I do swither on this)
Robust and lightweight- plenty of hi-tech materials out there
I do have more but there is not a single Nikon DX or FX for that matter that has all of this in one camera. If someone built me that I'd be pretty happy- for a while
