down loaded on my ipad last night cant see any diff tbh
Definitely agree that losing YouTube is a bad thing. I wonder if YouTube & Apple have had a lovers tiff!!
The app is iPhone specific & the iPad ones are pretty poor. Not impressed with that to be honest
then you aren't using the features that were added.
Some differences for you:
Guided access
new maps (which is poo)
facebook integration
icloud tabs
shared photo streams
facetime over cellular
do not disturb settings
if you haven't seen a difference, then you haven't tried using these features
If you log in, you will see your favourites.
And Siri.
siri addition is only on ipad, it was already on iphone in ios5
He was talking about his iPad.

I guess you guys don't let your toddlers loose on your ipads then
best feature of ios6 by a mile inmo
sduk said:did my 4S, the wife's 3GS and our iPad 2 last night, both without issue. I did have to clear 2.5GB of memory for the 4S to update though!!
Only thing that annoyed me is that we share an itunes account on the iPhones/iPad and it has copied all of my wife's contacts onto my phone
Think it was something to do with the iCloud thing. So I have deleted that account and turned it off.
Now just have to go through my contacts list and manually delete her 300 contactstakes ages!!!
There's a lesson to be learnt there I reckon!! ;0)
I've solved the YouTube problem for my iPad. Just go to YouTube via Safari & then select 'add to homescreen' from the Bookmarks menu. Instant home made YouTube app, it's not as good as the old app but it works well enough
Sorry, but the lack of the YouTube app is a huge backwards step - and cannot play YouTube videos via Safari because it is not compatible with Flash.
That's not a "home made" app. What you've done is added a bookmark to your home screen. You can it with any website.

I have the same problem, just make sure you press return at the end of a sentence and it works. Can no longer write posts on the iPad app. The send button is greyed out. I've seen somebody else mention the same thing somewhere.
Anybody have a solution???

A question regarding facecack native integration
can you delete the previous facebook app completely that was pre iOS6 and still use facebook?
My wife is on a 4s. She wants new to update it but with all the bugs people are reporting I don't know if it is worth the hassle. I don't want to be finding work around for her all the time. She seems happy enough as it is so maybe we should just leave it?
The only thing I can't get to work on my idevices is passbook, i keep getting a "can't connect to iTunes store" message.
Same here. I assumed it was because it hasn't been launched in Spain.
Passbook is the same on mine but I'll never use it so I'm not to worried.
My battery isn't too bad either, it's down to 38% after 39hrs with location services still turned on.
Facebook doesn't seem to have changed for my, I had the Facebook app & nothing's really different
