From when I was a kid I wanted to see a lighthouse do that. (Still do...)

certainly is. i walked virtually all the way down the steps then someone coming up said you need to buy a ticket from the office at the top to get across to the stack so walked all the way back up only to be told i could've bought a ticket down the bottom :gag:

Not been up there for many a year. Seriously windy, I remember. Nearly blew my Zeiss Ikon out of my hand! (That's a film camera for all you youngsters. Ask grandad what `film` is)

How did that get there? Have you sprayed it with Detol? I know someone who tried to eradicate a dose of crabs with fly-spray (true) You could try that too :lol:

This thread is great fun- it's just a pity I was so late to it- I could actually know what I'm doing by now:D

Bit limited for time just now so will see what I can do. Think I'll be pretty much out till Friday so good opportunity for someone else to come last:lol:
