i hope we can have a turnaround of 2-3 days too, but as long as it's a casual attitude to 'rules' rather than having them imposed upon us ;)

TBH it was always 2 day comps until Christmas so its no biggy :)
 
id like to have a go at this im still learning ps and work shifts and a demanding 6 month old so my entries made be abit sporadic.

I gather there are no rules- except Mr G comes second and taking yourself too seriously or boring us with the details of how you did it leads to instant disqualification:lol:

Couple of days to edit entry
Winner decides exactly when to call time on the two days and declares winner and Mr G second

and repeat:D
 
One suitable for rockets and explosions, or if you prefer, a more subtle approach.

what an exciting Saturday night i've had. My 11 year old lad having a mate staying over - so i've had the duty of making sure they don't watch any horror dvd's or make too much racket while the missus went to bed about 10pm. Went in the other room about midnight and they're watching 'Kick Ass'... shhhh... don't tell mum :bonk:

Anyway, thought i'd have a play while watching match of the day.

thank you my learned friends. It's obviously only us serious editors who can appreciate the technicalities involved in a piece of work such as this. But i will let you into a little secret....

i delved into my photo archives and dug out a picture i took from the front of this building.. which is where i got the gates and the cobble path from. Then it was basically a bit of trial and error with the rain thing... paint black, add noise (monochromatic), add motion blur, hard light blend and tweek to suit.:geek:

Wee Tarquin fi next door is away for the week, so you will have to make do with my edit this time ;) hence the reason why it's below par and not as technical as our talented friend Leigh ;)
