If someone wants serious edits then you put up images that can be seriously edited - don't you ?

All I did was create 3 layers:
The original colour pic.
A photoshop pencil effect (I actually used Coral Paint Shop Pro).
And the hand and paper borrowed from the web.

Erase the paper where you want the pencil layer to show through.

A few levels tweaks on the hand layer, to try and get to the same tones as the colour original. And colour the paper white as this was a funny shade after the levels tweak.

I also used this idea on one of my own pics. clicky

whooaa no yet...i sneaked into that thread but now you guys n girls are gonna find me out and beat my meerkat. Now don't copy my ideas or instructions and bring them back here to win on the second class thread.:p

the classic 'disqualified' comment on the other thread had me in stitches... then when i saw Andy's meerkat i just had visions of the other threads OP absolutely seething sat at his pc. It's almost as bad as someone painting a tash on the mona lisa :lol:

First I tried to be clever and add in an entire Beetle to merge with the beige porsche but failed.... I went for a subtle edit instead...

I can't remember laughing out loud at my pc for a long time but Andy has made me chortle twice with his posts. Fantastic!
I can see Wayne being disqualified from the other thread because the rules clearly state that you get 1 day, whereas Wayne has given everyone until Wednesday ;)

I didn't even get a dishonourable mention apart from the kind person who voted for me. Somehow I didn't expect to :p

I think I will start a serious thread where we all aim towards the same result, that would probably teach more than everyone going off in a different direction. I have an idea for Wayne's house, hope I have time to do it

Thank you - ages since I last won :)

This is a bit different, if it is too uninspiring I will put something else up otherwise will choose winner on Wednesday late afternoon sometime. I am trying to grow my nails and had some holographic foils on them - very difficult photographing your own hands and one of the few self portraits I have done.
