The "how would you edit this photo" game.

N2M- like the Malibu effect- I reckon you should phone their marketing department- those palm trees have been around for ages:D

Mr G- great concept and you are forgiven for having no sharks....leave it to me:lol:

You fixed this PC of yours yet or have you got bits left over?:p:lol:

Not had the time yet - I need to stick a new hard drive in then reinstall the OS from the recovery disks - then reinstall all the programs (fortunately the data/pics etc are on external drives anyway)

aura yes.. not ora... had some "cake" last night which didnt make me feel better at all!

Can you buy that 'cake' from Tesco's? ;)

Thought I would experiment with the paint brushes

i like that James... though the woman has a glowing ora :)

If I remember my weights and measures, an ora is two shillings, an ell, for what its worth is 40 inches. Random utterly useless info :)

Christine- that's excellent.

Stephen- like the different take, good work- not as boring as the rest of us eh?:D

Limited time to do what I wanted which was to make a gif with a big shark and tanker blowing up.
The problems I had with this plan were:
1. Lack of time
2. Lack of skill
3. Someone put three boats in the way:lol:

So I played with levels , and put the plane in that Scott would have got if he had waited a second longer:p
Textured it on canvas for a bit extra effort:lol:

would been much nicer without the parchment look, but i really like that Dr O :)

Thanks Nick- I wasn't sure- thought the plane maybe looked a bit odd without it although I'm maybe a bit too eager to use filters just now:lol:

Without texture;

i like that textured look sometimes, maybe with softer contrasts, but prefer that edit without :)

I like that Dr O make a nice wallpaper I can see that in me livingroom :D

Ok.... Here goes ... in no particular order

Stephen .... Nice bit of cloning out, like it mate

Walter .... Nice touch, but the border, seriously :shake:

N2M .... Also nice edit, but not sure the label would temp me into trying 'Boozo'

Dr Ozone .... very good canvas, like the effect a lot, well done mate

James .... also very good mate, like the idea and the edit, but not so sure on the 'ORA"

Craig .... Welcome mate .... A very good edit, really like that a lot

But the winner has to be Christine :1st: with this, really thinking outside the box with a great painting effect

very nice indeed :)

comes back after months and steals it all away from us :D

lovely edit that, very artistic!

As soon as I saw it I thought "b****r" lovely edit. Well done Christine.

Thanks Scottie - I was reading through your list and thinking "not even a mention" then I reached the end :D

Thanks for all your kind words everyone, just to make a change from meercats - are they still around - here is my new pet. I lost my Dobermann bitch last October and decided not to get another dog as my rescue is more than enough for anyone unless something dropped into my lap - and this little lady did. She was a stable kitten and got caught in a haynet and snapped her leg and was found just hanging from her broken leg, she needed someone to nurse her though it and it turned out to be me.

I know I probably don't need to say this but this Kitten image only for use in this thread as I am using others from this set commercially

The poor little thing. It's really nice that you've taken her in. Love the camouflaged cast.

haha! nice one nick ... something different from you again!

Like the idea Nick:thumbs:

I tried to drop it in with the Bengal we had but it just looked like it had been stuck on and wasn't actually there and I went back to the drawing board and did the other thread first.

Currently waiting on that Eureka moment:thinking::lol:
