:-D A small isolated thunder cell did pop up in the middle part of Kent and then near Sheppy today, but the lot then trundled slowly to affect London and Essex.
Over here at Folkestone it's just been boring overcast carp with occasional rain all day.
Currently uder a fair sized thunderstorm. I've been hearing it for the past hour or so and it started raining heavily about 30 minutes ago. Cat no likey! Not seen any forks. Hot and steamy as well - headache central!
Lucky aren't they? 28oC coming home at 4:30 tonightJust looked at Will it Rain and seems apart from a small patch in Scotland yourselves and cornwall are the only wet bits![]()

Can not believe how low the water levels are in Llyn Llydaw at the foot of Snowdon, especially the amount of rain we have have prior to this dry spell.
Looks like it has been a morning of fun and games for those living at Brighton and Hove as a line of very slow moving thunderstorms brought torrential rain, lightning and hail to that region.
Yet it has been dry and fairly bright all morning here at Kent - just 80 short miles to the east of all that action.
I know its a bit far ahead but whats it like next week. Off to the isle of wight on saturday for a week.
