Morning all..
Not a cloud in the sky so thats very boring.. well thats my weather forecast today.![]()
![]()
Just had ten minutes of drizzle, That band of . . . er . . weather has passed over us and yet the top soil is still bone dry, didn't even touch the sides.
Skies are clearing and it is now quite sunny, and it's not really that windy.
Hi Ian.. Just been for a walk to take a shot or two and its a nice warm day at about 22c..
Well thats you banned then![]()
(
Cheers mate.. Thats the nicest thing thats been said to me all day..
..
Then it's likely to get stormy by the weekend. Possible tidal surges over the East Coast on Saturday, one to watch I think.
Seems as though it may have already started Ian

Hi ian..
I will just go and get a jumper on while I look at these pictures..![]()
Evenin' all.
Over here, the tiny spitty bit of rain we have had this evening hadn't even touched the dusty top soil and now skies are clearing again. Seems that the underlying drought situation continues.
You've got to be kidding!
It's horrendous here in Snowdonia!!!!
Snapped through the windscreen this morning.

Apparently this was just 'normal' for this time of year - last Saturday there were gales and bad floods, that was properly wet.

Has someone moved the white lines to the right of the road..
Its only a shower..![]()

The latest batch of posts in here does clearly show that the Atlantic has finally woken up and is now starting to have an influence on our weather.
Tomorrow will provide further evidence of that as the latest model outputs seem to suggest near-continuous rain over the South East of the UK as from midnight tonight and into tomorrow and not easing until Friday morning. A quick bit of guessimate adding-up suggest I could see up to 30 mm of rain between now and the weekend - that would be more than the whole of November put together for my location (I recorded 22.5 mm for my location for the past month!).
And you know what I think of it? I say bring it on because finally it's something noteworthy . . . and we do need the rain badly, at least speaking from my back yard.
Then next week, things will take on a more wintry flavour over the northern half of the UK as colder air start to move in from the north west. Snowfalls will become a regular feature over Scotland and even over high ground further south.
On the weather front...
Fantastic huge waves crashing in on the Anglesey coast.
Down side was frequent and heavy showers.

WHAT
The forecast for here is dry and wall to wall sunshine (unlike the last few days) - how bizarre is that!
Great shots Ian
I'm glad you finally got your rain too.
'Tis a cold and frosty morning here.
