nice light! I'm looking forward to the 20mm arriving.
In the meantime, I've just picked up a minty Olympus OM 300mm f/4.5 prime, and I'm waiting for an OM adapter. The 300/4.5 is one of those 'sharp wide open' legends that's still available new to buy [check out bhphotovideo.com if you fancy a new one!]
Manual focus, but a 600mm f/4.5 should be very cool indeed. And, all in, it's cost £170! The beauty of the system is the legacy glass choice - and the increased depth of field means that you can shoot wide open and still get acceptable depth of field. For me, this is a huge advantage... f/4.5 light levels, and just under f/9 depth of field...
I'm even looking at swarovski scopes and wondering about 1200mm - 1500mm digiscoping, but that's for another day!
Dan, your link is just to the ebay home page rather than an item.

Just got my G1 - first impressions:
+ points
-Flippy screen is great
-Viewfinder is great - def feels better with longer lenses than using the screen
-The grip is also nice to have with longer lenses.
- points
- Tis that bit bulkier than the GF1 which means I don't think I would carry it around in a jacket pocket - that doesn't bother me for what I got it for though
- The adjustment wheel on the front doesn't feel in a very comfortable position for me, maybe I'll get used to it.
First effort with the G1 (and 14-45)

Oooh nice - is that the 50mm 3.5? Been thinking about picking on of them up. I have some Canon FD extension tubes too.
Alphahoho - cheers! - most of my shots are of Lancaster, where I live, and the surrounding area.
