Haha, as if I didn't hate Stoke enough already! Arsenal really are giving this game to them :(

Well I'm hoping for a Chelsea win this afternoon. Not that I have anything against Man Utd and I certainly have no love for Chelsea. It's purely hat, as a neutral, I'd love to see the Premiership go to the wire. A win by 1 goal for Chelsea would certainly get the nerves jangling and create a very tense final 2 games.

It certainly would get the nerves jangling.

I hope you're wrong though.

Based on previous - I'd be more than happy with a draw today.

lol, trust me if liverpool had anything left to gain this season i wouldnt be that fussed, but having b****r all to play for makes this a very 'so what' season for liverpool. My hatred of man u is rife this season due to it being the 19th win and the fact i'm getting so much flack from all my extended family this season more than others

Well you can look forward to next season when we come to you. We're still out for revenge for '76 although we did finally get our mits on that particular trophy yesterday. :D

i will be looking forward to it, the way we've finished this season is very promising, and with carrol in the ranks and suarez looking to be our hernandez it should be a much better season as long as we don't catch spurs for that 5th place europa carp league spot

I genuinely hope Liverpool do well next season, I've always had a soft spot for them since watching them in awe as a kid in the '7s.

2:1 - now it's sqeaky bum time............

bah i had high hopes for chelsea but they screwed it up, damn this season all the way to hades!

only plus is that the mighty stoke beat arsenal!!! ha ha

Did anyone see the text from a guy on the BBC website "live football" ?

It looks like he'd bet £30 on every team in the Premiership scoring this weekend and stood to win just over £6100. Chelsea duly obliged in the second half:cool:

Enjoy. I'm hoping to get there later in the year but that would be for Rugby League.

If you believe what some of the pundits say, I'm off to watch a rugby league team too :)

Well just tell 'em to keep all tackles below the neck! :D

If you look at today's match you will see that the pretty tippy tappy football Arsenal play resulted in more fouls than our rugby style. :)

I just don't understand Arsenal. Last week we played better than Man U and rightfully won the game. this week we looked like we were scared and weren't interested :shake:

Ferguson gets something out of his players that Wenger doesn't. I'm not doubting Wenger's ability in most areas, it does seem though that he fails to motivate when the chips are down, and he looked very angry yesterday.

Maybe it's time to ship out the dead wood and start afresh, but I think after 6 years without a trophy, Wenger's dream of doing it with youth must be at an end...

It's not really a surprise to me what happened against Stoke, I was actually more surprised about the performance against Man U. This team absolutely imploded last year when there was nothing to play for...Wenger said then he would make changes and didn't. I am a massive Wenger fan but surely he must know that this team needs something adding to it? I honestly think he will be given one more year and I just don't believe he is daft enough to let some of these players be responsible for his destiny any more.

Not sure what rodriguez has been drinking lately but for someone who has been absent all season, he sure is scoring a lot of goals right now

Just caught the result Joe.

So you don't want to finish 5th - what about 4th :naughty: ?

If Spurs beat City (who are just above you I think) then they leap-frog you ?

What are you wishing for - Spurs win or draw ?

I need a calculator

Spurs win vs Man City

Liverpool-Spurs on the weekend then, Liverpool win.

Liverpool then need to win vs Villa and need Man City to draw or lose vs Stoke and Bolton.

Whatever happens I want a spurs win. As above then if Liverpool beat spurs and villa and man city get 2 points from last few games we go fourth. I want 6th or 4th. Problem is going for 4th will more likely get us 5th

:D Blue Moon.................you saw me standing alone......................without a dream in my heart..............

Micah was immense tonight, as was Kompany. Good job as it wasn't one of our finest performances. Good to see Tevez get 10 mins even if he did have a hissy fit at Bobby Manc whilst warming up!

Now for Saturday

Chris :)

Go Stoke!

Hope you win, it will be nice to not have a top four (or is it top 5,6 or 7?) win the cup, so hope you do well. You stuck one up Arsenal the other day, so I know you can do it.

Shame tonight about the loss, it would be Crouch scoring, even if it was the wrong end. Spurs need a good striker, one a class above Crouch, Defoe, Pavlychenko to turn the draws we have had into wins.

 Looking forward to Saturday Chris? I am like a kid waiting for Christmas.

Chris :)

Yeah can't wait, win or lose it's going to be a cracking day out :)

Don't forget your suntan lotion though, its not very often you are out of Manchester United shadow, so you need to be careful of the sun.

:lol::thumbs:
