Dowd loves the geordies Haha. Best premier league come back ever.

Maxi Rodriguez - How did he miss that !!!!

Much as it pains me - I'm hoping Liverpool win today !

and as much as it pains me, a win to chelsea wouldnt be the worst thing in the world if it means they start to catch utd! wont make much difference to our season i doubt

So I'm a United fan hoping Liverpool win and your a Liverpool fan happy to see Liverpool loose.

Football - enough to drive a man to drink

So much for Mr Torres. I think KD has done an amazing job since he's been back. As much as I love Roy Hodgeson, it's pretty clear that he wasn't the right man for the job.

lol, well not exactly happy, just not the worst thing, glad they won though

Tell me about it. About 5mins after kick off I decided I fancied them to win 2-0, which was met by a lot of protest from 2 Liverpool supporting mates, so stuck £10 on at 38/1! The last 15-20mins of the match was particularly exciting for me!

That would have been a sweet return :bonk:

Ignorant bar stewards!

If you`re selected, and given the honour to play for you country at least sing the damn national anthem. It looked like half of them didn`t even know the words ffs.

Rant over :)

With the exception of his clumsy challenge he was a pleasant surprise. Also thought the arsenal boys played their part. Johnson was shockingly poor in the first half and rooney was half-hearted as per usual. Oh and Hart was reliable at the back

Not the best first half display in the Derby but more than happy with scoreline !

Fantastic winner from Rooney.

A very bitter Mike Summerbee throwing his toys out of the pram live on Sky Sports just made it all the sweeter.

Thought it was great when he talked about City having more chances and dominating possesion. Then Sky showed the stats and Utd had more shots, more on target and more possession. He laughed at the stats and said he never takes any notice of them!!

Think it will be a while before they book him again.

I thought it made for great viewing

Great result tonight. I really have a soft spot for Fulham, even if I am a Gooner, and I reckon that it's now a 2 horse race to the line, with a good chance of the title ending up in North London this year. Will be about time too.

Did you mean 'ending up' or 'ending' in North london :naughty:

Joking aside - Tough run in for us with some difficult away games so Arsenal have a decent chance.

Naah, Arsenal have forgotten how to win a trophy!!

COME ON YOU SPURS!!!

Yep - well done Spurs.

I'd like to see them have a good run in the CL

I've enjoyed watching Barcelona's 'tippy tappy' stuff tonight.

Somehow they're only 1-0 up so perhaps Arsenal can get something here...........

2 cracking goals from Arsenal, brilliant game, but as much as I love the Gooners, I just don't think it's enough to take to Barcarole...

Yep

Arsenal scored just after my last post and then scored again. I just had a feeling that was going to happen.

Think Barca should have had the game wrapped up earlier on but fair play to Arsenal for taking their chances when they came along.

Barcelona's away goal is a big blow for Arsenal. I can see them scoring at home so you may need 3.

I think we need to go all out at the Nou Camp, no other way of doing it. As much as I love Theo, we need to bring him on as an impact substitue when their legs start to get tired.

Still, better result than I was expecting.

Steve

Great result for Arsenal but Barca are still going to go through.

i see barca getting through aswell but im sure arsenal will fight till the end and make it very tough

Yippeee! One very happy Gooner here!

Ever the optimist i think we will go through...

I think (as a Spurs fan) you've done well, but got away lucky.

Messi should've scored, and that last attack where Arshavin was defending, well he played the ball with his hand in my book, so lucky to no concede a penalty.
As they have just said on the Tele, it's one thing defending with the crowd behind you, and another one altogether with the crowd against you.

Barca have an away goal, they have home support, I think you have got the easy game over with TBH.

And even though it's the enemy, I do like it when british clubs do well, so not too biased!

Messi is so over-rated - he was very poor. Will be tough - could grab a 3-2 defeat and go through!!!

Messi is overrated? Wow, that's quite a statement!

He wasn't his usual special self tonight but still managed an assist and a disallowed goal that could easily have been given.

Was at the Arsenal game last night - have no voice today to prove it!!

Great result, Wilshere (handled himself against the best midfield in the world) and Koscielny (kept Messi quiet) were fantastic.

If we play the same way over there you never know....

P.S - anyone that was there last night or have watched live football with those two extra "officials" behind each goal - what a waste of time and money they are!!! They make no decisions and don't seem to watch the game very well!

They were useless, did they do anything? Koscielny did play very well actually, aside from dribbling past the halfway line and then not knowing what to do next!!!

40 goals in 32 games (all comps) - that is one hell of a statement.

I'm not sure we could have been watching the same game! They looked a constant threat, calm and precise passing throughout the game, under pretty much constant pressure from Arsenal (over 700 passes completed in 90mins - 93% completion rate - that's unbelievable).

Arsenal were superb as well, and personally if they hope to stand a chance at Camp Nou they need to exploit their one weakness - defending against a counter attack. The pace of Walcott will be integral if they are to stand a chance.
