Walcott's gesture was humorous right up to the point that the people carrying him started getting pelted with stuff from the crowd. And Walcott's gesture as he came off...what an absolute hero![]()
I don't hold out much hope for them against Citeh when they are at home. Stranger things have happened in the Cup though.
Respect due. Just seen the news that Eusebio has passed away at the age of 71.
I obviously knew him as a footballing great, but he was retired not long after I was born so he was great by reputation and standing in the game, not from watching him play in games.
Top scorer in the '66 World Cup and 733 goals in 745 games though.![]()

It's amazing how many people have criticised Suarez for diving (Tony Pulis at ThugsRUs, David Moyes (Hah) at Everton & Mourinho the other day to deflect another poor referee performance) over the last few years considering he has only had 2 yellows for the same thing since arriving over 2 years ago. Wow, that averages out at a whole ONCE per year but you would of thought he was the biggest offender the game had ever seen. About time people got off his back and let him get on and play.
manchester united as a club for the last 20 years has been such a goliath
and then along came david
Huge loss with Theo out for 6 months with a rupture anterior cruciate ligament. Absolutely gutted.

I take it that rules him out of being available for the world cup ?

As the World Cup starts in 5 months, I'd say that's a given.![]()
Excuse my naivety, but did someone change the rules of football? I thought as a Manchester United fan, we were supposed to win everything?
Seriously though, the sooner we get a revolving door built into the manager's office, the better. What an insane idea, bringing in a manager with no trophies or any measure of success in the English league who wants to do his own thing and try ou the old guard before entrusting the future with youngsters. God help us .........................................
I've said that all along mateI'm happy to just let him get on and see what he thinks of the players he has before the work begins.
Sounds a bit fishy to meBought the wife a Man United bra and she hates it. She says the support is carp,
I've said that all along mateI dont know what's more amusing; ABUs wetting their pants at the United's 'demise' or the idiots on RedCafe panicking
