You're part of the 'the enitire football family' surely :D

Yes, but come on, that's a bit vague. We are paying him upwards of 200k a week. Might be worth a mention.

The quote I read said.....

'.. the truth is that my colleague Giorgio Chillieni suffered the physical result of a bite in the collision he suffered with me.

'For this: - I deeply regret what occurred....
Hands up anyone here who thinks that's an apology? I mean, if your kid had bitten somebody, and you asked him to apologise, would you consider that acceptable? I certainly wouldn't. There's no acceptance of responsibility. It's like he's apologising for his part in an unfortunate accident.

But if he's not willing to face up to what he did, how can anyone be sure it won't happen again?

Thats how I read it also. This is not an apology.

I agree that the initial part of the quote is a bit vague but the full quote on t***ter includes some bullet points at the end, one of which specifically apologises to the Italian:

I still think though, that rather than saying "independent from the fallout and the contradicting declarations" it should read "having lied to try and get away with cheating and violence again...."

He wont be our problem soon and then we can all stop talking about him. :D

Fred suspended for 3 games for.....................

But using the man city logic....if you don't get him a rival will?
Our best weapon is our team spirit. What's the point of another player who doesn't want to be here?

But I can eat it with an Italian accent.

All I can see is Basil Faulty commentating saying that the French Meekly surrendered to the Germans. Whilst predictably Fed is in another Wimbledon final.

I noticed that :)

Just settling down to watch Rodgiguez and Colombia knock Brazil out. ;)

Or not. Brazil's chances have taken a massive nosedive after Golden Boy's injury.

Interesting game play last night by Brazil. Couldn't help thinking it would have been a better game if the ref had taken more control early. Brazil had the game plan to 'unsettle' Rodrigez

Much better effort than France put in, looked like they didn't care

Well it's what I settled down to watch ;)

Shame about him being out but he was starting a grate a bit.
He is the only Brazilian with X-factor though. Actually, Sideshow Bob is great value too and that sidefooted 30 yarder was immense.

Nobody's mentioned Suarez for a while either...

I heard somewhere between £59m and £63m being touted yesterday.

If it's that kind of figure plus Sanchez then that's a very good deal given Sanchez would be £35m or so but if that's a straight sale - it's only £9m more than Sideshow Bob which is odd.

No, I think it'll be nearer 75mill. If the clause is less than that we've given him away.

Sanchez is not part of the deal so far. Straight cash.

I was wondering how Brazil finished with 11 players on the field. How Ceasar did not get sent off I don't know, and how many times did they kick James up in the air ?

Not the Brazil of old, by a long way.

It's ironic that Brazil, who clearly played with the intention of kicking the life out of Rodrigez, have their star player injured and out of the competition. It's been a great world cup but very disappointing to see Brazil use tactics like that. Without Neymar and Silva, I don't see them having any chance against Germany.
