I think LFC will just want whatever he gets to start ASAP

Anyway - to more important matters - I'm off work tomorrow so I'm hoping for a good performance tonight from United.

Pick that out !!!!!!!

United fans seem utterly indifferent to winning the league. Villa fans singing "you've won the league and you still don't sing"

20 years ago last night we picked up our first title in 26 years to make it LFC 18 MUFC 8.

Albeit 'drunk' I made a bet we'd beat the Scousers to number 20

A grand just came my way.

Happy days.

Well, it's official. Congratulations! Now I'm going to give TP a miss for 24hrs to avoid joe's 'I told you so' humble pie epic. Come to think of it, a day probably won't be enough.

He's still wrong though - it wasn't won 8 weeks ago lol

I'll leave you to convince him of that fact. Good luck!

Fortunately, I didn't enter that debate so I'm free from being force-fed humble pie :)

Get a pic up!!

This isn't going to be popular with fellow Gooners, but I am happy for RVP tonight. The guys world class and would have been a crying shame for him to finish his career with nothing.

Tweeted that exact thing earlier. Think we're one of the few arsenal fans who wish him well regardless.

Rumours flying about that SAF won't start him next week so he doesn't walk through our guard of honour to congratulate them. I will have huge respect for Fergie if he does that.

Well Fergie owes Wenger big time so its the least he could do TBH. Also, I believe RVP still has huge respect (love) for Arsenal, Wenger and the Fans.

Exactly. You had the sense to realise united already had it sewn up like I said.

I'd congratulate united but I already did it months ago!!

Get your fork ready Phil you've got humble pie to eat! Mwwwahahaha

Does nobody think that Ivanovic deserves huge credit for not smacking the obnoxious little turd in the nose?

I sure do.

Arsenal stand to be paid £1.5m for a clause in RVP's transfer should he win the league. Well now we've robbed United blind

I'm heading down to cornwall on friday. What did you get? St Austell, Skinners or Sharps?

by the way I just checked back - did you realise it was as far back as february I called this

:thumbs::thumbs:

The one and only St Austell.

New oak floor finished in the bar too. All looking good.

It's been a few weeks since I managed a 'pass' but it was nice albeit 'restrained'

There was a 2.8% ale on tonight too. Can't for the life of me remember what it was called but the free half taste was pretty
rich. You'd never have known it was pretty much half strength.

Had a few nips though being off work tomorrow.

Bayern Munich have bought Gotze from Borussia Dortmund for a buyout fee of €37m. That will hurt BVB fans, and also make Bayern even more of a force to be reckoned with come next season.

I know a young QPR fan who's also a big Dortmund fan, he's having a right swear-fest on twitter at the moment!

 Most premier league grounds are quiet these days but theres especially so...the only time ive heard any atmosphere this season from their fans was against Madrid!.

The majority of passionate fans can't afford the train fare from London and so you get a lot of tourists in the ground who make less noise.

It makes me laugh how players talk of their love for a club and then when a big offer comes in suddenly their affections have always been with someone else. In this case you can't even say that BVB are struggling, like you could with RVP's departure from Arsenal for example. They've grown year on year, still in the CL (a German final seems written in the stars now, if Gotze continues to play well for the rest of the season), won the league last year, and have an exceptional manager. Funny what €250k a week can do for a man's loyalties. It will also be interesting to see how the fans react and also who they reinvest that money on.

On the other hand, it's fantastic business by Bayern. Not only do they gain one of the best young attacking midfielders around, but they deprive their only genuine league rival of his talents as well.

I was surprised to see that Bayern's wage bill is double that of BVB's this season. I had no idea there was such a financial gulf between Bayern and the rest of the league. That divide, it seems, is only ever growing bigger and bigger as well having looked at past figures.

Last night was rocking in and around old Trafford. A few prawn sandwiches but where it counted the ground was rocking. My throat is killing me today.

Not to mention more than a few United fans who left before the final whistle, presumably to get on the last train headed down south ;)

BVB probably pay tax:D

Giroud's ban upheld, commencing with immediate effect. So basically the FA are saying an accidental tackle over the top of the ball because his standing leg slips is worthy of a 3 match ban, but Aguero stamping on Luiz or McManaman's horror tackle aren't worthy of any punishment at all. Let's also not forget Kompany's two footed lunge earlier in the season that was overturned. The FA are nothing if not inconsistent, that's for sure!

At least I might finally see Podolski play up front as I've been hoping for! It'll probably be Walcott or Gervinho instead

Rumours flying on twitter that Cavani is off to PSG. Haven't seen anything definitive from an official source so it may be rumour mill stuff again.

I wont be too disappointed if Arsenal win at the weekend :)
