Well, Joe, you're up against 2 teams in the Top 10, and you've yet to beat a top half team this season.
Good to see Everton lose. If Liverpool manage to pull off two wins this week they can find themselves above the toffees.
Not one of your best jokes Tom.
I actually think the top end of the Premier League is a bit weak just now and Madrid will be a step to far but should we manage to get through - the lead in the league could allow us a little bit of luxury in terms of team selection.
Delighted with the 3 points today.
I'm glad Fergie saw the importance of bagging a 12 point advantage ahead of the CL away game at Real Madrid.

Yes, a good result. Highly unlikely we'll take over Bale or Arsenal though, but progress is being made. It's also unlikely Sturridge will play tonight.
I heard them called Team GB (Spurs) which I thought was quite funny.
It's interesting how the top third of the table is panning out in terms of local rivalries. Liverpool hunting Everton, Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea all so close together and City and United after top spot.
I just hope Suarez gets a few goals for my FF team. As Liverpool have two games in this game week I also stuck Henderson as he cost what I had left.

We'll find out in the next few weeks I suppose I just think RVP has pushed Man Utd to another level and everyone else has stagnated really.

We'll see in the next game whether it was City being poor or not. I wanted Southampton to implode for getting rid of Adkins, who was doing a pretty good job. Doesn't look like that will happen.
Don`t think so Joe. The best display of football I have seen all season was when Dortmund murdered us at Eastlands. How the hell we got a point from that God alone knows.
Prem sides are weak in the CL, that is the benchmark.
How many of the current ManU squad would get in the team from say 10 years ago? Not many.Same can be said of Arsenal IMO.
Ferdinand, Vidic, Giggs, Rooney, Evra, Carrick and Valencia just to name a few.........see below
Being slightly pedantic because 10 years ago we were not a strong a team as we are now imho of course
MU Squad from 2002/03
You know what I meant Tom. So I got my dates wrong. How many would get in the Beckham,Scholes, Bruce,Cantona etc team?
Arsenal players now that would have got in the Adams,Viera team?
Not many I wouldn`t think.
which year would you have got in the united team tom?
went out to Real that yearFerdinand, Vidic, Giggs, Rooney, Evra, Carrick and Valencia just to name a few.........see below

Fair point Tom, I still think the prem standard is not all it is cracked up to be. I guess we`ll see this week ,compared to other top leagues.
Good point Swansea tooI think the biggest difference over the past few years is the teams that used to roll over have mostly decided to have a go at the top teams and have lost their fear. I put that down to Blackpool.
Most teams nowadays are comfortable on the ball and the passing game is
played top and bottomas soon as big Sam bites the bullet the whole league will at least be attempting to play attractive football

Stoke?
I think the CL is a good measure of where the prem league really is and how good it is.
