meanwhile rodgers speaks out that it is unacceptable and will deal with suarez internally.

Surely he would have been dealt out internally at the time of the dive! Bet Rodgers wants to kill Suarez for that interview - but his response is bizarre.
Press ban for Suarez!
Liverpool and Suarez = the gift that just keeps on giving![]()
Rodgers defended him in the weeks following it but now he's admitted what everybody else knew was "unacceptable"
If you're going to cheat at least keep it up rather than coming clean or perhaps go with the old "misquoted / out of context" method. Liverpool have had a few problems of late getting their story straight.

You are hilarious.
A few days ago you were on your high horse saying Suarez should have told the ref about the goal when it hit his hand. But now you are saying he should have kept schtum about this.
It's so amusing to hear everyone bitch and moan about him. Whatever shoe fits eh?
Quite the opposite Joe
We're laughing at him - not bitching or moaning.
I wouldn't expect you to admit it phil![]()

Admit what
It's comedy gold Joe - as they do themselves no favours.
Hence I said Liverpool / Suarez = the gift that keeps on giving.

Some Liverpool fans defend Liverpool and Suarez no matter what they do - I must congratulate you however on remaining so unbiased in your views. So many Liverpool fans get defensive about even the small perceived digs at their club but you manage to rise above it - I salute you!

what's to defend?
Its just the same old bitching and moaning from the other fans as always. no difference there
Or when you moan about SAF or Rooney etc............ but you rise to the bait every time like a greedy perch.
Nigel Adkins has been fired from the Saints despite only 2 losses in his last 12 games. Football is a bizarre world.
Pochettino takes his place.

Also, it'll only be 18 months time and his contract will be in discussion again...
Cavani for £30m has been murmured - not sure how much truth in that, but would be one hell of a signing for you guys.
Arsenal fans will do what Arsenal fans do. Those 'fans' that are complaining about his salary would be the same 'fans' who'd scream had he been allowed to leave for nothing. There's no pleasing some folk.

What a stupid decison, I really do hope they go down now, to teach the owner a lesson. Adkins was doing very well, and they are on a great run.
He could have easily got that wage and more elsewhere, but losing him would have been a greater loss than just the talent.
Liverpool have had many over recent years. :shake:

dinners said:As redhead says - there wasn't that much interest in Walcott and by that I mean there wasn't interest from the clubs that have recently taken Arsenal players and given them a higher wage.
Liverpool were interested by all accounts and might have paid him somewhere in the same region (I think Downing might be £100K +) but I doub't he'd go there if he can earn the same at Arsenal and have the whole thing come to the fore again in a couple of years.
There wasn't much interest at this stage because he still had 3 months to go before an English club could approach him.......like I say, with 3 months still to go there wasn't much they could do besides wait.
dinners said:Clubs don't 'wait' if they're hell bent on getting a player just because there's a few months contract left.
Call it 'tapping up' but it happens - Interested clubs make sure targets know exactly the kind of offer that's on the table and you can be sure that players agents go out of their way to see what interested clubs are prepared to offer. That's why we've seen clubs 'resigned' to loosing players long before contracts are up. I suspect Walcott's people would have known exactly what was on offer from who but signing for Arsenal was the preference.
Which is precisely why it took 100k + a fat signing on fee and not 85k offered earlier. Neither of those 3 teams could realistically offer him a striking role anyway.

perhaps more influentially - more money.
I'm struggling to imagine what he can do with £100k PER WEEK that he'd struggle to do with a mere £85k PER WEEK.
