I have a funny feeling we will do a 'Chelsea', and i think the gooners will at least get to the CL final!! Crazy, yes, but I think if we can keep Theo we will actually grind out results and do well!!

Bayern will be tough. They're cruising in the league at the moment as Dortmund have hit the skids a bit. No reason why Arsenal can't progress though. Gutted United didn't get Celtic from a personal point of view.

thres quite a lot of points in there that I find mute after what happened with wayne rooney a few seasons ago when he was asking to leave.

Talk of disrepesct meaning the player is gone etc. It's clearly BS otherwise rooney would have been a gonner

also this was interesting about Paul Scholes

OK, that aside, and bearing in mind I am not a United fan, do you not think the guy is deserving of the praise and respect?

Banned for the non payment of debt which is pretty basic.

City and PSG financial doping through bogus sponsorship is far harder to investigate or enforce.
 
I swear the end of the world MUST have happened. Downing has had an assist and a goal in the same game!!
 
Got home today and switched the radio on to hear the City game was 0:0

Listened to the last couple of mins on the radio and my curse struck again.
 
I'll say it again: Downing scored a good goal and made an even better assist!
 
BR says he wants him to stay now. I thought he was the best player for us against Villa too.

thing is the way downing played yesterday was just like he played last season too. It's just that the team didn't get on the end of any of his crosses, up till recently this season he was playing really poorly, so hopefully he is now regaining that form
 
Joe, I agree. He played well in parts last season, but the crowd got on his back along with Hendo. I've seen enough of Hendo this season to see that he is learning a lot from BR and could become a very decent player. I'm not sure Downing can produce that kind of form regularly enough though.

Had a sneaky feeling we'd drop points today - that's why I was dissapointed when City managed a late winner yesterday.

Pretty good in the end I guess. A point away from home and everybody lived to tell the tale :lol:

Fergie up his usual tricks to create something to deflect from the team when the result hasn't gone his way.

I don't think he cares if what he says sounds comical. In some ways the more ridiculous the better - he's just fishing and there's plenty of people willing to bite / feed off it...................................
