Typical Wenger blaming everyone but himself. Taking no responsibility AGAIN!!!
Moaning I considered taking him (Wilshire) off but we had to go forward and attack. We were not in a position where we could defend and we didn't have a lot of midfield offensive options on the bench. You what!!!! You pick the bloody bench, and if we dont have the right players whose fault is that??? Why not get the chequebook out and BUY the right players!! No arguments, that IS bad management!
The penalty, well, if you raise your hands in the box you run the risk, yes, it did seem harsh but get on with it. It had no impact in the end, if anything it probably helped arsenal. Why not take responsibility - we are simply not good enough.

You mean because I didn't say Wolves ?
No, because next season won't be better.
I agree to an extent, but again I'm going to defend Wenger a little. A recent report by France Football said that Wenger made an attempt to sign Hugo Lloris last summer, and Lloris himself was keen to make the move, only for the board to not make the funds available to the transfer. If this is the case, and I'm inclined to believe it is, then the claim that Wenger has the money available to him to spend as he sees fit is smoke and mirrors to deflect criticism away from the ownership and board.
I firmly believe Wenger has had his hands tied by the current board with regards to how much they aim to make from and invest back into the club. They are keen to let key players go like they're a product for the club to sell, but much more reluctant to replace them with anything other than future hot prospects who could be sold on once they're of greater value.
Well, he found the money to fritter on Santos who is no more a left back than I am. It was only after seeing motd I realised how bad he played and the shirt swapping was a disgrace. Maybe if you are a conference south side at old trafford but not a prem league team. If he really has no money then just say so. Say you need to sell before you buy. BUT, clearing some of the high earning players would free up cash. Let the likes of chamak, arsharvin, Denilson, etc... Go on frees and use the cash to pay better players well and to bring in others.
And for heavens sake, give Walcott a go down the middle and pay what he is worth. Losing players to man city and barca is one thing, losing them to Liverpool will show where we actually stand.

dont have a great feeling about this game against the geordies. They've been making such a thing about their record at anfield that it's just written in the stars for them to win today.
Hope I'm wrong
