maybe its simple.

They thought he would be a great addition and for whatever reason it just didn't work out. So they are now deciding to do something about it rather than waste more money :shrug:

you cant know for sure if a player is going to work unless you try it

Plus from what I have read it more that Sahin wanted to leave. No point keeping a player that doesn't want to be there.

Am not fussed hes leaving, he did a job but never really lighted up the football pitch in a Liverpool shirt!

Really hoping that Howard Webb picks up an injury and has to be subbed and Liverpool pull off a miracle. Then city beat arsenal to close the gap

Can't blame him really. He could have been warming the bench in Madrid instead of Liverpool. It was a waste of money, but it was also worth the punt. Much worse to have spent 20 million on him and have his value halved.

Is Dinners' total wrong? And is it possible to add a 'key' for point structure as I can't remember what it was, thanks for the update....I see my plan is working nicely with all my predictions for the bottom 3 in the bottom 3...they just need to sort themselves out.

He must be silly if his 'mind' games work. He draws you lot in every time. As if there is a conspiracy to allow Utd to win? It just so happens that they have been the better team over the last 23 years, with the greatest manager these shores have ever seen.

Lol at mind games, you guys give fergie way too much credit. He's just a cantankerous old fool, simple as that.

I will miss the embarrassing rubbish that comes out of his mouth when he steps down though, it's always worth a chuckle

is it any different to the mind games that Shankly used to play or Cloughie? But you are too young to remember all of that going on, so it mustn't have happened.

Just get over the fact that Utd have dominated Liverpool for the last 23 years.....it happens to other clubs too.

I agree, I think Henderson has shown his capable in europe to play in the prem so losing Sahin ain't a big deal.

It started off well when he was featured on Football Focus earlier, when he was rightly getting recognition for his consistent high level displays, but it looks like he's had a stinker. I was expecting him to get sent off too just to cap it off. ;) :lol:

Glad he's not in my Fantasy Football team, this week anyway. ;)
 
I have mata as my captain so three assists and a clean sheet will do me wonders. Plus I had hazard and lambert too and Chelsea and southampton have another game this game week.

I think it's a bit of a risk starting with Sturridge if he's not fully fit, but coming off the bench he could make an impact if needed. It could go either way though, use him till he runs out of steam too, and then bring someone on, it's just that I don't think Downing would make an impact replacing Sturridge. :shrug:

Nice to see Wisdom getting some of the limelight on Football Focus, he looks a confident and assured young man.

I just hope it doesn't turn out the same way as Walters did for Stoke. In fact he probably won't even play now. :bonk: :lol:
