Penalties, Champions League Final, Chelsea, little blue plastic flags - it's all coming back to me now.

How are you coping Roger ?

Me too. The only way to decide, and they are fair - i mean you have 2 hours to try to beat the other team!

Although they are never fair if you are playing the Germans!

See, you can racial stereotype!

Well done Chelsea

Here comes the Terry dancing though - have to switch off now

I might keep it on for a while though to watch Bayern thump the grass

I'm not going to enjoy my day in West London tomorrow....thank the lord I don't live there anymore!

This is going to be unbearable - I think I'm going to have to block my Chelsea friends numbers for the next few weeks...

Fair play to them - cruel way to decide a game but they were on the receiving end the other year again Man Utd so it's evened out.

Terry does my nut in though - celebrating like it was him who kicked the winning penalty.

Are Spurs out of the Champion's League then? Wounder.....

Still with us Roger ?

I imagine he is dancing \ crying \ drinking \ singing maybe all of those simultaneously, that or apologising to the neighbours for the noise he's made...probably won't be back on here until the early hours!

I feel for you akr - no Chelsea fans up here.

Really pleased for Chelsea fans though.

Now can I watch the Cup being lifted. I just know JT is going to be all over it like an embarrassing rash......

I'll peep with one eye LOL

In fact I'm going to watch because Plattini is going to hate handing it to an English club !

Well, Chelsea won me over in the end, what a great performance of spirit. Glad the beat the Germans after all. The more the game went on the more I changed my mind.

Seeing the Germans lose a penalty shoot out is so enjoyable.!

Guess Spurs fans must be gutted, no Champions League for them anymore.

This was definitely written in the stars....by a Chelsea fan...

Yep - If Chelsea win then the 3 that qualify are Chelsea plus 1st & 2nd in the Premier League (City & United)

The team that finished 3rd in the Premier League become the 4th Champions League team and therefore have to go into a qualifier.

Seems that simple, but not if you do some research, uefa seem to be saying there will be no playoffs for arsenal.

Gary Cahill - I guess he's pleased the way his transfer has worked out!

Well done Chelsea. Seems like ur name was on the cup after all. And just a bit of positive spin for us united fans.... Chelsea are the most successful English club this season. Fact.

Research - what do you take me for :D

That's just how I heard it explained on the radio the other night.

Trust me there's no positive spin for you! You still ended the season without any silverware and lost the prem to your noisy neighbours!

Not that again Joe - a member of our completely silent neighbours

:D:D:D Get in! I've never been through such drama in all my life. A fitting end to a terrific but strange season for the English clubs. I'm not sure if it was a good game or not and I'm sure you guys will give your verdicts on it soon but to us it was the worst and best feeling we've ever felt. It's 5am here and my 10 year old has just gone to bed with the biggest smile on his face along with unbelievable black sacks under his eyes and he's got a footie tourn to play tomorrow. And we knocked tot off 4th. Talk about a cherry on top:lol::lol::lol: At the same time I feel for Bayern but someone has to loose and I sincerely thought it would be us. Talk tomorrow. Goodnight guys!

That's what it's all about Roger.

Your son is old enough to keep the memory of tonight for many years to come. I bet he'll still be buzzing in the morning. Fantastic.

Really pleased Chelsea won, always great to see the English teams winning. Makes me smile seeing Platini trying to look happy at an English club winning his beloved cup :D

I do feel a bit for 'arry and Spurs tho. They finished 4th which was the pre-requisite for Champs League and still don't get in.

I mentioned that just before he did the presentation but having watched it -:thumbs: he was a man in pain

Match Stats
Bayern Munich Chelsea
Shots 34 9
On target 21 6
Corners 20 1
Fouls 11 26

I'm delighted for Drogba as I've always felt he had the talent, but it's not exactly a victory for the beautiful game.

Did I hear right - John Terry has been given permission to lift the trophy.......

Roy Keane's greatest performance in a United shirt against Juventus in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final in Turin. He dragged that team into the final despite knowing (having been booked again) that he was going to miss the final. Never mind wanting to go and collect the trophy, Keane said that he didn't feel he deserved his medal.

Keane had a chuckle tonight when asked about it.

I suspect Terry wants to be in the famous photo.

I was coming around to the whole JT thing about what he'd done etc etc but then tonight he went and got his full flipping football kit on

Don't want to detract from what the rest of the Chelsea team have done but JT has had pelters on the radio tonight.

agree with you there Roger. Whenever it goes to penalties, the pessimist in me comes out and we'll get beat every time....nice to see it go wrong the other way this time! Although I do feel for Schweinsteiger...German playing for German club at his home ground and missing? ouch.

Terry is a complete pleb, no doubt about that, and it would be a travesty if Roberto wasn't offered the job

Yes - well done Chelsea

Great to get one over on the Germans on Penalties at last.

I'm not a great fan of Terry either....

In terms of Terry...
