Elements of Design by Paulie-W, on FlickrNice view where I working today. Jpeg sooc with a cyan/blue tweak.
Not had much chance to use 'Vibrant Arizona'. Think it's been on my camera for 12 months and this is the second time using it.
It's never sunny!
This recipe would be great at a fairground or a seaside town.

very Asteroid CityI like how the clouds look! My first thought when I saw the photo was Wes Anderson![]()
I just searched for it and saw that it was inspired by Asteroid City. I might try it on my X-T4 and see how it works in Aberdeen next week, depending on the weathervery Asteroid City
looks a bit mushy scaled down to 1024 to upload it.
Think I used it in Whitby last year, yes it was actually sunny!!
I'm off next week, hope we have a few sunny days. May risk a trip to the seaside and give it a proper go.
It comes sooc pretty close to the colours but if you look on FujiXWeekly and scroll down the page, there’s a setting for adjusting the cyan and blue. It just makes it a bit more turquoise.I just searched for it and saw that it was inspired by Asteroid City. Stones_3 by Steve Jelly, on FlickrI haven't done much landscape stuff recently, but took a few shots while at Avebury Stone Circle last week.... Mono seemed to work better than colour on these. All done in LR, using Acros+G and a slight boost on contrast.

The amount of time I waited to not get people in the shot.......Very nice. Every time I've been there, it's been at night![]()

Yeah I'd rather pay another 200 or so for an "as new" one, like I managed to get from them.Went to check out a XT5 in my local LCE, £999. It's been there for about 2 weeks now.
For that price, it usually get sold quick, but this one is quite worn, very well used. It doesn't appeared to have been dropped (no dents), but every corner is scuffed. About 30k shutter count, the store clerk told me it was owned by a studio photographer. The scuff at the top was from the flash being put on and off.
On paper, none of that bothers me. A well-worn camera is fine, I bought my Sony A7R3 well worth but I paid like £650 for it.....£999 for a similarly worn T5....I couldn't do it.
Had the same issue at RHS Wisley a few months ago. Probably the most popular exhibit at that time was the Wisteria walk, always busy. A couple of us had waited until it was almost clear, quite obvious what we were doing. The amount of time I waited to not get people in the shot.......![]()
General public. They’re SO entitled…lol…Had the same issue at RHS Wisley a few months ago. Probably the most popular exhibit at that time was the Wisteria walk, always busy. A couple of us had waited until it was almost clear, quite obvious what we were doing.
Then the couple in the picture just walked straight past us.

Bookwork In The Window-03978 by G.K.Jnr., on FlickrDo you need F/2.8? If a slower lens would do there is the XF 55-200 or XF 70-300 (or if you didn’t want to spend much, the XC 50-230 isn’t bad).I'm looking to extend my focal range beyond 55mm. It seems the obvious solutions is the Fuji XF50-140mm F2.8. I don't see anything similar to compare from Sigma or Tamron. Am I missing any third party manufacturers? Is there likely to be another lens coming soon? Anything else I should consider?
The 50 - 140 is an amazing lens, but rather heavy.I'm looking to extend my focal range beyond 55mm. It seems the obvious solutions is the Fuji XF50-140mm F2.8. Agreed. It was the first Fuji telephoto I had; I sold it when I bought the 100-400, but I'm thinking of getting another one for when I don't need the reach and want something lighter to carry round.Ain’t nothing wrong with the 50-230

I also took the 27mm f2.8, but as usual, took a couple of photos with it but didn't like the results, I love the size of the lens, but I just can't get any decent results out of it, really awkward focal length, seriously considering getting rid.
I have two Viltrox Air lenses, they're excellent. Can recommendJust had a look at Amazon Prime day.
The Viltrox Air range seem to have about £30 off the lenses
25mm is £132 instead of £165 on the Viltrox site
