Superb - that's a lovely late bay
Beautiful place and great shots. Did a quick few visits on the way to the inlaws but really wish we had more time to explore there.

I only used the LR lens blur on the main car picture the one of the badge has no lens blur addedAre you adding any bokeh in post processing? That seems fantastic for the kit lens![]()

Fuji X-T30/XF55-200
Presents left from the storm by Nick Lowe, on FlickrDoes anyone know how much a lens service will cost from Fuji or a is there a list of costing online somewhere? Think my 16-55 may need recalibrating as it sometimes misses focus as in nothing in shot is in focus! Doesn't appear to be camera shake. Xt5 with ibis and images in good light = good shutter speeds. Doesn't happen all the time maybe one in 15 shots.
Many thanks![]()
Will be taking the Xt5 out with a prime attached on monday to see if the issue raises it's head if so then it may be the camera. Tested the 16-55 on my Xt4 and did get some out of focus but cannot rule out user error. Sort of stands out that there is nothing in focus on the missed shots with no signs of camera shake just a very slightly out of focus image that you know doesn't quite look right till you zoom in.180 of your earth pounds

I had this a few years ago with the original XF16-55mm F2.8 and an X-H1 - it would sometimes completely miss focus but only at the wide end of the lens - again like you it didn't happen all the time just 1 in x shots - it was irratating but I just lived with it - I actually assumed that it was the camera as it didn't happen with my other X-series bodies - but it could have been the lens, and perhaps it only did it with IBIS sensors???
Very nice Peter. Do love a flyby in a image,
Max by APM Photography, on FlickrI just go uncompressed. Cards are big enough to deal with the amount I shoot.I'm the proud owner of a new X-T5, having traded in my previous X-T3 (Took a lot of soul searching as it still was an excellent camera with superb image quality).
Just interested to hear peoples' thoughts on the use of Uncompressed v Lossless compressed. What I've read on 'tinternet about Lossless Compressed is the difference is barely distinguishable for a huge saving in image size, but cost of storage is so cheap these days, why not get the full capability of your camera?
Any and all opinions much appreciated,
Pete

I like the different angles/ details.A different way of shooting cars for me. I usually much prefer the A7Riii at 85/1.8 but although this local meet is good, it's very tight for space for what I like. So I had to adapt & overcome with the X100f
For comparison, this first image is my weekend baby (at a different meet) and how I like to shoot cars.....

What are your thoughts on the MST Mk1's? I like 'em, but bloody expensive.
Bloody hell, that's expensive...Thanks you
The MST "Escorts" are nice (but not to my taste with the body style) and do look well built and to a good spec too. And yes, way to expensive for the average person...... But, still a lot cheaper than the newly announced Boreham Motorworks evolution of the Escort isThey start at £295,000 for base spec......
Bloody hell, that's expensive...
I prefer the body style without the fat rally arches.
Yeah, I guess that's the price of hand built. Silly money though.Same. I much prefer just the front Mexico flares as I have on mine.
I can think of much better things to spend over £300k on. I can also think of better things to spend the £110k ish on that the MST's are tooEspecially if the actual usage mine gets is anything to go by.

Tate II by Ian, on FlickrI passed through Blackfriars station on Sunday and the sunset view of the City of London was spectacular. I went back today as the forecast was decent, but it wasn't a patch on the weekend's show. This was the best I managed:
