Very nice landscape style capture Donna, with some lovely pastel colours.

A couple from my backlog. The first one from Liverpool, where the rays from the setting sun and the way the light caught the side of the arena attracted my eye:

This one from a local harbour of a couple of well-used little boats:

Noticed you’ve posted numerous ones of the dog in a similar style/edit.
Are you using a specific setup to achieve the black background or have you edited it that way?
Would love to get our Springer to chill for long enough to have a shoot!
Thank you, DaveGreat shots Andrea, totally love the first one.
Little Egret taken today before packaging the loan fuji kit up to return tomorrow.

When I had an X100T I used to carry it plus a couple of filters, spare battery etc in a Domke Belt Pouch which made it easy to have to hand even without a cout. I no longer have an X100 but my Leica M9 with 35mm Summicron fits in that same puoch with an extra battery/SD card.Just a quick note about when I took my new to me X100s out yesterday. As it was drizzling I wore a light jacket with a hood and the X100s went into an inside pocket. It pulled a little as it's only a thin light jacket but it did feel more comfortable than either my Panasonic GM5 or GX80 I suppose due to the shape and weight distribution, the Fuji being a bit slimmer fitted the pocket better and produced less of a bulge having less of a protrusion both front and back. It's a less awkward shape for a pocket. I think it'll sit better in my heavier winter jacket and I think I'll be able to take this out without a bag.

"B P" SPIRIT by Rohan, on FlickrYou're right - I liken the size/form factor to my m43 favourite the GX1 and 20mm. It is slightly smaller than my other m43 favourite of the GX9 and 20mm. Pretty incredible how things move on and the amount of tech that Fuji have squeezed into the X100V.
Very cool and great work Paulie.
Thanks, chaps"Excellent" portrait styled capture Paul, unusual but works very well.
The lens hood does make the camera significantly deeper buy doesn't add hardly anything to the weight. Personally I think the benefits of the hood are worth the extra bulk. IIRC there are some smaller hoods available that don't stick out so much they sort of come in over the front element so aren't as bulky.I don't have a lens hood on mine. I am waiting for an adapter and filter but I'm hoping they don't alter the package too much.
Thank you, GeorgeTwo very nice captures Andrea, liking both of these very much with the boat image being my fav'.

Why don't you get it and try it then decide if it will replace your X-T3 if not you could likely sell it on for a profit.Hi all, it’s been a while, hope you’re all keeping well
I’ve today been offered a mint XH-1 for silly money (£200) by a friend of mine. Obviously I’ll buy it but my question is, is it still a viable camera seeing as I have the XT-3? Ideally I’d keep the XH-1 and move on the 3 to buy some more glass as I’m hearing good things about the 35 that’s out now and I want to get a 56 too. Main uses are street, portraits and weddings
Thanks for the extra explanation.Thank you, first time I did not like seeing Susie in B&W, then tried it in Nik Collection ages ago and thought it's not to bad. Now I have started to test out the ON1 Raw plugins bundle 2023 as there are so many different ones and these ones are Sunny Plains which I do like a lot. When Susie sits down I say Who's That to get the look.
On the BG it is dark so just make it darker then finish editing.
I’ve had two before, but I’ve not really picked up a camera in anger for 18 months so I’m looking for current users to give me their opinion. I’ll compare obviously but it’s going to be a couple of weeks before I get my hands on the bodyWhy don't you get it and try it then decide if it will replace your X-T3 if not you could likely sell it on for a profit.
FWIW I use X-T2s (same sensor I believe) alongside GFX 50Ss, although I can obviously see a big difference between the X-T2 anf GFX files I couldn't say I was dissapointed with the IQ on the X-T2s and for general use out in the field on my Dartmoor Photowalks they are great for the job, however, if I know I am going for a specific landscape shot od an already recce'd location then I would always use my GFX (or Film Medium Format). I'd say as long as you can get on with the user interface of the XH range they're as good now as they ever were.I’ve had two before, but I’ve not really picked up a camera in anger for 18 months so I’m looking for current users to give me their opinion. Haven't used Nik since v3 iirc. Only reason I don't use it now is it fails to install or at least failed last time I tried. Have been tempted by the latest but it's more money for something I used infrequently at most last time so can't bring myself to pull the trigger on it.
I may have a look at the ON1 plugins but probably be the same as Nik for me in terms of use!
Actually managed to get a nice one of the dog today, or at least on the back of the camera and imo!
Will post it up once I've had a look properly
I`m more than happy with my H1, and can`t see me shifting it (until it breaks). Does everything I need, for the snaps I take.Hi all, it’s been a while, hope you’re all keeping well
