Can I ask for some opinions on the Viltrox 33mm f/1.4 lens please? I'm very tempted to pick one up for a trip away next week, it seems well reviewed but as always some real world opinions would be great
Lucky boy.
My XH2 is still on the DPD van but should be delivered by 4.45pm
My cards and L bracket and spare battery are all ready to go. I just have to configure once the camera arrives then it is off to test.
That's a big un
OK been trying to assess how to demonstrate the XH2 v. XH2S capabilities.
I guess I have to use the lenses on this list (below).
So I have the option of 15-55mm f2.8, 50-140mm f2.8 or 80mm macro or 90mm f2 as well as the 70-300mm or 100-400mm.
I think that it has to be the 16-55mm f2.8 or the 90mm f2 or 80mm f2.8 macro.
Decisions, decisions.

Thanks for that. If I got a set it would be the 3rd party ones.Mine flips out a little bit... But then, mine are cheapo amazon jobbies. Never had a problem with any other lens though.
It acts as though the lens is being connected/disconnected over and over for 10 secs or so every now and then. In between that though, it works just fine.
Personally, I can get similar results just using the 70-300mm since it has a ridiculous close focus. If I need REALLY close, I go with the 18-55mm on the tubes, more towards the wide end since it gives better magnification, between 23mm and 35mm is best.

I should have gone out yesterday evening. It has been chucking it down here all day.
OK I have to wait for another day to test the XH2.

Same ones I have and I use them with the 35 f1.4, 90 f2, and 50-140. All with great results. The JJC tubes are about £34 on Amazon, as have had some for ages and glad I kept them.
