Plenty here - mainly MPB - all should give warranty

"Passing A Poster"

Just a simple candid street style Fujigraph taken at London UK of a couple of ladies passing by a shop poster that appears as if the guy on the poster is kinda looking and wishing he also had an ice cream that one of the ladies is holding.

I treated myself to an annual pass to the Shard and this was my first recce of the view. Grotty day and I couldn't wait until sunset but I got to frame up some shots and work out how to balance my camera on a bag for longer exposures. This is the only half-decent pic though (3 or 4 shot pano, 18-55mm lens, I think). Must remember to leave more space at the bottom next time to get the full loop of the train tracks.

Looks like my latest obsession is bridges/arches and black and white. I got a check up yesterday and can’t drive for another 4 weeks, so street photography may be more on the cards for now, as I very much doubt my hubby will be keen getting up to drive for a sunrise.
XT3 16-80
PS open to CC on this (I would’ve preferred a little more space between the lady and dog)

How’s your photoshop skills ?
The double lines could go, along with the parked cars. Maybe the low bridge triangle and marker lines. Probably help to give it a more timeless feel.

thanks Trevor, my photoshop skills aren't that great, but I will certainly try and see what I can do with the cars (I quite like the double lines). Thanks so much for your feedback, and it's about time I went back to learning photoshop. If I master it, I'll try taking the lines out too to see what it looks like.

That's the sort of detail that I fail to notice until I get home!.
For some reason I was very concerned to get a lot of very boring cloud at the top of the frame and I ignored the bottom. I was also trying hard to keep the pano lined up horizontally as a previous effort was about 20 degrees off, so I stuck the guideline for the top third on the horizon as I swept round. Next time, I'll change the display and use a higher guideline. Still, that was why I was on a recce. I'd be gutted if I did this to a shot with better light

When I do pano's that I stitch together, I always give myself plenty of room so I can crop it in a bit if necessary. Unfortunately you can't add on any bits you miss!!

I haven't been very active on here lately, so I've just had a good catch up read of this thread.... good stuff as ever! I have however been getting out with the XH1... Some local and some on a holiday to Cornwall.
Comments, good and bad, are welcome.

Downloaded and instructions followed. Camera says there are no files on my card though. Hmmm...
Did you open the file you downloaded ?
If you did, don’t. Simply drag the file onto the card.

Tracey Emin - Roman Standard

"A tribute to Liverpool's famed Liver Bird, Roman Standard was Emin's first public art project. She describes the sculpture, often mistaken as a real bird, as a symbol of “hope, faith and spirituality” that acts as a point of contemplation"

Heads up if you’re planning on visiting Dorset, it looks like they’re lighting Corfe Castle again. It’s great to see. Went out looking for deer (got nothing apart from a nice walk), and saw these on the way home - hand held so bumped up the ISO and manual focus as wouldn’t auto
XT3 70-300
Edit - false alarm, it seems the lights were a one off as a memorial for a local resident

Now that's what I like. The simple shots are the best, I find.

Lovely shots Donna. How do you find the 70 - 300?

Really love this lens. I find the 16-80 and 70-300 make the perfect combination for me. It wouldn't find focus for me last night which is a first, but it was quite dark and as you cn see the mist so maybe not such a defined object to focus on. But manual to the rescue.

Hey guys, I finally upgraded my X-T1 - I've got an X-T3 coming tomorrow, and I'm looking for extra batteries. I've got a £100 Amazon voucher so figured I'd be able to get a couple of batteries and a soft release button or something, but there doesn't seem to be any decent options for NP-W126S on amazon.

I'm ok with third party so long as they're some of the better ones - Patona, ExPro, and Wasabi tend to get good reviews. My trusty ExPro's have held up well on the X-T1 for the last 3 years, I don't see any difference between them and the OEM.

But there is literally nothing decent on Amazon, third party or OEM. Am I missing something?

Anyone have good experiences with other third parties? I won't be doing much video, if at all, so won't really be pushing them too hard.
