Very nice close up style Fugigraph, with some good detail & colour.

“Hope you don’t mind me saying and I fully respect the way you wanted to present this shot, but for me PERSONALLY I’d have cropped off quite a bit of the upper background to bring the insect further up in the frame. Although I do like the nice oof background I do feel there’s too much of it”

Thanks, George :thumbs:
No mate, I don`t mind at all. Usually I would, but decided to make it a little different this time around. CC judges would hate it lol

A pic from October last year, my trusty Suzuki steed;

I do like the V Strom's - I was wondering about getting one last year, so glad I didn't as I had a shoulder injury that would have prevented me riding since November and now the virus. Which one is yours, and how do you keep it so clean..? My old Honda CB1000 looks like its never been cleaned in its 14 years. Actually.......

Just a simple candid street style Fujigraph taken at London UK of a very common thing these days of guy sitting down Just Texting.

Hello All,

After much humming and harring I have now ordered my first 'decent' camera, this being a X-T20. I had held back for a while, mainly due to corona and being in furlough for the next 2 plus weeks, but after noticing that most of the major dealers were completely out of new kits I thought I better bite the bullet while I can. It is going to be a big learning curve me thinks.

Regards. Paul

Well thats the new PC all set up, have C1 Pro 20 on the laptop but ended up buying C1 Fuji to now have on here.

@Peter123 I got the X-E3 here now,m but cant find the rest that goes with it so give me a few days then it`s yours.

But your Capture One Pro license will allow you to have it installed on both machines. Why buy it again?

Thought I'd post another favourite XF90/2 image of mine taken a few years back, shot wide open;

That’s a “POSITIVE RESULT“ in my book, welcome to the madhouse and probably the best thread on TP “ENJOY”

I have ordered a

Lexar 64GB 667x (100MB/Sec) card, for my X-T20 which should all arrive tomorrow. I am wondering now if I should have ordered a faster card. -- Promise not to pester with too many questions.

Thanks
Paul

A spring evening

Well, i've just bitten the bullet and gone for the XF 16-55 2.8 lens. Online reviews have it as a fantastic piece of glass, so a trade in for a couple of my other bits and I should have it by the end of the week.

That was quick! it's taken me weeks to finally decide on a PC set up, only just ordered this evening. Sadly it cost me a lens to fund, but it's easier replace a lens than get a PC I think, so I will replace it sometime soon. How is your PC running with RAW processing etc?

Speaking of, I do have a few random images to process, must get them done - it's just such a chore with this old dying PC

Ask as many as you need! You'll always get some answers in here :) If it's just for photos it'll be just fine, it's when you want to do 4K video the speeds matter much more in my experience.

I will have to let you know tomorrow as no photos on here yet, but clicking on C1 and then edit in Affinity it is damn fast.

I know only too well what sluggish processing is like, nightmare! I'm more looking forward to any improvement in that than anything else. Well, that and being able to watch HD videos without stuttering and crashing :D

Welcome aboard the Fuji train, Paul! You have a very capable camera there and I'm sure you're going to enjoy it. If you have any questions ask away as there are a lot of excellent photographers and Fuji veterans in this thread :thumbs:

Welcome Paul, you will love the X-T20 as when I had mine I loved using it. Plus any of the XC lenses work a treat with it too.

Seems the Viltrox 33 1.4 is on pre-order in the states now, wonder if it's on any UK sites?

I’m liking mine, couple of weeks with it and it does impress. Big old brick but the quality is awesome.

Welcome. I jumped over to Fuji just before Xmas. There’s a fun factor with Fuji cameras that others just don’t have. Enjoy. :)
