The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

The one and only Fuji Best XF90mm f2, it was my most used lens and all the talk about it being to heavy was rubbish ( To me anyway) as the way that glass just renders is WOW.
I agree 100%, it is my favourite lens too. It doesn't get the most use, but when the shot is right for it, it is unbeatable. Oddly the 135mm F2 L was my favourite on my FF Canon.

The last month or so I have spent so much on cameras and lenses I have now stopped ( for the moment) but last night treated my self to a All in One PC, as this laptop is slowing down a bit still love it but the new PC will have a 23.8 IPS screen so it should be fun. Then in a month or so I might get a lens back that to me is Fujis best.

What spec pc did you go for? And where from? I'm about to buy a desktop myself for same reason, my 8 year old laptop is finally looking like packing in.

Never had a 90mm, can’t decide if I want the 90mm or the 50-140 at some point this summer. I’m loving the flexibility of the 16-55, so feel the 50-140 would offer the same sort of flexibility.

However, it’s not a lens I would use a lot and ‘think’ the 90mm would possibly get more use. And of course, it’s a lot cheaper!

Not fantastic, but will do for me.

Nice, that's about my budget too but going for a custom build as I want one that's kitted out for gaming too so instead of getting a monitor and extras like the kb/moue I'll put it all into the case.

Last night I was looking on the Dell site, I could not get my head round how to do it all, so went for the All in One but wanted 256GB SSD.

I'll be honest, I was pretty clueless about it all until just recently, got some good advice from twist and others on here about what to look for. I've also watched about a hundred youtube videos on graphic cards and cpus - the trouble is, the more I learn the more I want, could easily blow a £2K budget now if I had it :ROFLMAO: I just need to keep it realistic/basic. If it runs LR smoothly and I can play the odd casual game I'm good :)

It this review that sold me the 90mm.

I loved this bit from the review.

Alright. I’ve been avoiding the emotional outbreaks so far. Been trying to keep things sober and objective, but I can not hold it in any longer.
OH MY DEAR LORD! THE IMAGE QUALITY OF THIS LENS!

You lot need to stop talking about the 90mm lens!

Its my dream lens and has been since the day I joined the Fuji brigade.

:ROFLMAO:

Then my best ever XF90mm f2 shot to date, this is the best glass I have EVER had the pleasure to own and it will be mine again.

Looking to take my X-t3 out with me while on cycle rides (road cycling), I currently own a 18-55 and 55-200, so not practical or possible to fit in my back jersey pocket. Which lenses are the most compact? I once owned the 27mm, I didn't wow me... but would consider as it meets the brief.. but what else is there?
How about the much maligned XF18mm f2.0 ? or the new XF16mm f2.8 isn't much bigger and there is the XF23mm f2.0 all fairly compact even my Samyang 7.5mm f2.8 fisheye is fairy compact.:)
I find the XF18-135mm fairly compact in fact it lives on one of my X-H1s

I think you'll love both. I bought the 50-140 and took it to Dominican Republic for a wedding and was blown away by it. I owned the 90 for ages and really loved that also. The lens that gave me the most pleasure using was the 16. I used that more than i ever dreamed of.

A fujifilm ambassador waxing lyrical about a Fuji lens, who’d have thunk it :ROFLMAO:

In fairness I don’t think I’ve ever read a bad review about it, other than having to keep your shutter speed up with it to avoid shake.

It’s not a lens I’d get massive use from, but who knows, I’m trying to keep an open mind until this nonsense is all over and I’ve got the funding approved by SWMBO

One from today ... Had a couple of ideas, but only this one worked with my limited time (daughter not very patient ;)) Cropped 16:9 for my freaky screen pic now, too

Yes please. sounds great.
Any idea on price?

I was going to give my Xpro2 away for FREE, but changed my mind and said instead it would be the X-E3.

So as it stands, it is yours for the great price of FREE (y)

I have both, and they are both excellent.

In fact, I had the 50-140 out today-

But that 90 is just brilliant at f2, close it down to f5.6and it's even better; I think it's got to be one of the best lenses I've ever had.

I`ve got a ship load of cook books, and 14 photography books, so hopefully I`ll be able to get something. Not as easy as I thought ;) Haven`t even begun to worry about abstracts yet.
I've only had a quick play but finding it hard to get the angles right, or interesting.
