Try operating a 5D3 with 70-200 f2.8 attached using only one hand. Think I'd pay money to see that!!!
I've shot a 1Ds2 with 70-200 f2.8 one handed many a time

Thanks. Hope you get out and about soon.Best of luck getting the knee fixed, I have just had an op on Achilles followed by 3 weeks in full leg plaster and now another 5 to 6 weeks of half leg plaster, not much fun.![]()
No offence intended @Raymond Lin
I think if you wanted, nay NEEDED to use the Fuji for weddings (as other pros do) you'd adjust your shooting habits and think a way around the problem.
I'm a creature of habit myself and sort of get where you're coming from.
Old habits die hard is a very true saying.
Terry.

with the xt20 1 handed it takes a couple of secs but if say you needed to go from 200-800the xtra time is the back wheel movement but just moving up to say 400 a sec is possible with practiceIt's not about habit, it is you NEED 2 hand to change settings. Even if i am used to it, I still need 2 hands, the process require 2 hands.
Try this, put the camera to your face and change the ISO without taking your eyes from the EVF. with left hand holding another body.
If you can do that within 1 second without losing grip/dropping the camera I take my hat off to you sir.
I'm thinking of going to Oulton Park in a fortnight. If you're not using it........Reminds me I must get that Fuji 100-400 out of the box, I've not even looked at it yet.
I'm going all Fuji, trying to sell all my Nikon FX body and lens at the moment. Planning to add 2 lens to my collection and keep the cash. Adding the 56mm f1.2 prime and a long zoom. Not sure do i want the smaller lighter option like the 55-200 or the 50-140mm f2.8? What do you guys think.
One of my nikon lens i'm selling is the 70-200 f2.8 VR1.
I'm trying. The wife says I'm very trying!LOL your so funnyI'm probably going up to the airport with it in Sunday
QUESTION: Is it possible to use Fuji X mount lenses on a Canon body (either EF/EF-S)?
I've got an X-T2 with a few lenses but also have a Canon 70D IR converted but I have no lenses. You see where I'm going with this?
Everytime I try to Google the answer it's always EF lenses to Fuji bodies so I'm assuming the answer is no but am ever hopeful.
There are plenty of ways to convince yourself that a camera system is not for you, loads of contributors on these forums can attest to this.
There are also plenty of Pro's out there shooting with Fuji's.
There is no perfect camera for every scenario.
No-one is right, no-one is wrong, we just all like different things, and if operating the camera one-handed is a mandatory requirement for Raymond, then that's that.
Just a thought, you can adapt loads of older manual focus lenses to work on Canon DSLRs with simple mechanical adapters, retaining focus and aperture control.
Compatible mounts include Pentax K, M42 screw mount, Nikon F, Olympus OM, Contax/Yashica, Leica R
Fuji lenses simply won't work as there's no focus or aperture control, and the flange thing (hehe!) means you'd be restricted to macro range anyway.
Why not pick up some old Fujinon M42 lenses?
Dammit. I have a load of Amazon vouchers and NatWest have just offered me 10% cashback on Amazon purchases. I really don't need an X-T20, but... #awks
Scrub that, it's only £673 at Digital Rev now![]()
Holding my other camera/tripod/bag/lens.
It's not about what it is doing, it is about if I can and not missing a shot. The point is I need to remove as much obstacles as I can, speed up the process as much as I can. The Fuji, as nice as it is, the design of the camera lean itself to this slower process of changing settings.
Perhaps slow down a little. You are much more likely to nail that shot if you are holding your camera the way it's intended to be held. With both hands.
Fuji XT-20 has an import duty rate of 10.5%
If you're doing commissioned work then 50-140. If just personal then I'd say 55-200. I used to have the 50-140 then sold it. Then I ended up getting the 55-20" which I have now and it's a very capable lens. I do landscapes so don't need the wide aperture for what I do. Your choice at the end of the day but that's my story.
That is a very good question. I don't do any commissioned work anymore like sports stuff. Thats why i'm selling my nikon fx gear. I mainly do landscape, street and family live portraits. Thats why i want to add a 56mm f1.2. Mainly want the zoom to use occasionally when needed. The 55-200 seems small and light to carry around too which is a bonus. Whats the focus speed like for that lens when use on the XT1?
The 55-200mm performs very well on the X-T1. Great IQ from wide open, quick focus and incredible optical stabilisation![]()

The question is when - I know they used to pay before (I only found out because I bought from their eBay store and they wouldn't pay as it wasn't via the website directly - I wasn't happy but understood), but checking their current T&C it says. You need to clear that up.
Digital rev have paid all the charges when I have bought from them. I have not had a penny more to pay. i bough a canon body and lens from them some while ago at some £1200 all in. and a Fuji X30 the same way.

I totally agree. As far as I know it has always said that in the T&C's But they also quote all inclusive for the UK, The T&C's cover al foreign sales. So it is confusing but well worth checking.
The bride is walking down the aisle....slow down a bit would mean she would have walked all the way down and i am still fiddling.
BTW, I DO hold it the proper way, left hand under the lens, elbows tucked in. But what I am walking about is should the moment arise that I need to take it with 1 hand and need to change settings with 1 hand. I can.
It's like my example on why do you need a back up camera? Just in case.
Why do I need the option to be able to change settings with 1 hand? Just in case.
In a wedding it is all about minimising missing the shots. I am taking it to a higher level.

I think a back up camera is more about common sense. well i guess you better stick with canon, just in case.
If I were in your shoes I'd stick with what you know (Canon) until I'm completely comfortable with a new system. There's no doubt that a Fuji system would be capable of doing very well as a wedding kit, but when you're up against time pressure and trying to catch the moment, you need a system that is second nature. If that means Canon for you then stick with it. By all means use a Fuji for personal work until you've become comfortable with it enough to take the plunge for the paid stuff!Common sense for me is not to move to a system where it would take me longer.
As I have stated earlier, if you are in a position where you are heavily invested in Fuji there is little reason to sell up to change just for this. I am already heavily invested in Canon, it would be silly for me to change to Fuji and lose my workflow, amongst other things.
As I said, for me. You might shoot differently.
