Agreed. And a nice diagonal going on too.
The diagonal Dave, was just "LUCK".

Here's one from Wednesday morning. After the foggy start in Botley, I made it into town, where there was no fog at all! But Christchurch Meadow was sub-zero and gorgeously frosty. Dynamic range became more of an issue as the morning went on, but I took so many pictures it's going to take quite a while just to decide which ones to keep. There were even some swans, although they were a bit less than cooperative, being more interested in dragging weeds out of the bottom of the ditch than posing for pictures...

Thanks for the comment. Yes, she loves the beach! The pebbles... well the Fuji colours do the work as usual. There's a dog that likes the beach! Lovely pebbles too...
Welcome to the XT clan Sir, you're the proud owner of a very fine bit of kit "Enjoy"
"Nice shot of the dog that looks to be enjoying the outing"
George
Welcome to the Fuji Club, lovely image does your dog stay still like that? I have to have a biscuit or piece of chicken held up near the camera to keep mine still!!
@Thunderbird010
I don't have the 56mm Andy, but the 55-200mm is a cracker of a lens. Certainly one of my fav's.

Velcro surely?
Great pic!
I've got the 56mm for a third time now hopefully will keep it this time, will see how I get on but also interested in the 50mm f2 and 80mm Macro when they come out.
Thanks George! I do like shots with mad detail, I must admit. I'm like the anti-Bruce PercyVery nice shot Dave, great detail, with a good foreground, and spot on exposure with detail in the highlights & shadows.
George.
Just bought an X-T10 with the pre-Xmas double cashback offer.
Thanks. It was an unconscious choice I made when taking the photo, but I thought the same after I posted it. Here it is straightened (mostly)Great choice of lens too
I see you went with keeping the foreground straight. But I wonder would it work better with the horizon straight? It's the first thing I noticed [besides the cute doggy]

Complete opposite here, more of a cool winter sun clear day. At least you got some cool pics. Did I even touch my camera today? nope - on a lazy sod one here today![]()
Thanks Trevor...Very nice Lee. Love the 1st.
I just went into Oxford, looking for it. Not really happening. Here at my house, we have plenty of fog. Over there where I want to take pictures...doh!Haha, fair enough! I've not been out enough with mine recently, so it was a nice change.
Lovely dog and great image !!!Thanks. It was an unconscious choice I made when taking the photo, but I thought the same after I posted it. Here it is straightened (mostly)

Spotted Something Interesting by ImageMaker, on FlickrI would suggest you try both out to see which one meets your needs the bestIs the 50-140 f2.8 is too heavy to mount on to the xt1 without battery grip? Planning to sell my nikon 70-200 f2.8 and get something similar for my fuji as i planning to slowy get rid of my nikon.
Or thr 55-200 is better option? And cash in my pocket lol.

Don't talk to me about friggin squirrels. Had our Spaniel out this morning and had him harnessed up to a waist lead so I could take photos. I didn't get any photos as he pulled me down an embankment chasing a squirrel.30 secs later he was in full on chase mode after a squirrel, luckily he can't climb trees !!

Another great image Dave you really seem to get the best out of that xt10 18-55 combo. One from Thursday night. As noted in the comments, I blended in a second exposure for the sky, to sharpen up the stars, and that's what the EXIF data reflect, rather misleadingly!
